“The accommodation does not deserve its 4-star rating. It was small, uncomfortable, and dirty. The staff was unwelcoming”
The property looks great on Booking.com but does not live up to the expectations—certainly not to the 4 stars it claims to have. In reality, it doesn’t even deserve one. We were two families with a child, accommodated in what they call a “maisonette”, but in fact it was just a very small space where we were all cramped together, sharing one bathroom. The jacuzzis shown in the pictures on Booking.com are available only for the ground-floor units, which is very misleading, as the building is only photographed from the back side, hiding the reality of the stairs and access. The apartment was dirty. Not once was the room cleaned during our 5-day stay. The bathroom was filthy. No one welcomed us, and no one was there when we checked out. There are no wardrobes for clothes—everything was left in piles. We were left on our own for 5 days with one key, two families in a tight space. This is not an experience I would recommend to anyone. Please think twice before booking this property.

“Amazing!!”
I really liked the attention to detail regarding the accommodation, bedding and amenities. terrace and jacuzzi absolutely perfect. an ideal place for families with children, with an outdoor play area. close to the food area and the beach but at the same time sufficiently secluded from the noise and bustle of the front row. highly recommend and see you next year!

“It was very comfortable and relaxing”
Room was quite modern and comfortable as well as clean. There were kitchenette so we were able to cook. Sea is quite near so you can walk by, also there are a lot of markets in the walking distance. There was even a small playing ground for kids in the yard. Room has been cleaned when we asked for it, with new towels. Nicoletta was quite helpful and smiling always.

“Fantastic place”
I had a great time at Valen Mare Suites! The place was comfy, the big terrace with a hot tub was awesome, it was really quiet, the staff were super nice, and it's close to the beach. I definitely recommend it for a chill vacation!

“Beautiful design, lovely experience, great place to stay”
The property was wonderful. We absolutely enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evenings, and the design was great overall. Also we had a lovely view to the mountains on the side - simply perfect! Also it is super close to the beach, but feels private and away from the crowds. I would love to go back for a longer stay.

“Everything was perfect!”
Everything was sooo perfect! Our room was huge and we had everything that we needed. It's in a great location, like a 5 minute walk to the Golden Beach. Everything was very comfortable and nice. It's the same with the pictures. The decoration is very pretty. It was sooo good to have an outdoor shower and a terrace to lay and sit. It was so nice during the nights Couldn't recommend more. <3 We had everything we needed.
