Overview
In a lush garden 130 metres from the beach of Skala Potamias, the stone-built Pontios offers a snack bar. It features air-conditioned accommodation with a furnished balcony overlooking the Thracian Sea or the mountains of Thassos. A fridge, a TV and individually controlled air conditioning are included in all units at the Pontios. Hairdryer and safety box are also provided. Some include a kitchenette with cooking hobs for guests to prepare breakfast and light meals. Drinks and coffee are served at the well-kept flowery garden bar or indoors by the fireplace. Taverns and shops are 100 metres away. A children’s playground and seating areas are provided in the flowered garden. Free WiFi access is possible in public areas. The famous Chrissi Ammoudia Beach is 2 km away. A bus stops right outside the property. Free private parking is provided on site.

The location is just great. Just next to the golden beach. It was our first time in Thasos, and I am glad we have chosen this part of island to stay. Lefteris, owner -- or chief off staff i dont really know :) - is also a very sincere and helpful man, glad to meet him. The breakfast is really good. We liked the overall quality of the foods served. The rooms are clean. This hotel make you feel you are in Mediterranean area, which I liked it. :) We want to stay in here again in our next stop in Thasos.

The breakfast was delicious and varied, I liked the pies the most, especially the vanilla one. The room was clean, spacious and the location very quiet and close to the center, to the taverns and shops.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience I had during my recent stay at Castle Pontos Hotel in Thasos. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by the owner of the hotel, Mr. Lefteris. Beautifully designed and clean rooms, perfect breakfast options (especially Mr.Lefteris served for us) made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you ver much for going above and beyond in making us feel at home. Mr. Lefteris’s hospitality made all the difference. It’s rare to find such genuine and warm service. The location was also ideal, and it was so close to the beach and we appreciated the recommendations for dinner. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you again for everything! Warmest regards

The breakfast was incredibly delicious and had a lot of variety. The location of the facility was great, 5 minutes from the beach. We had a wonderful experience during our stay, especially thanks to the owner, Mr. Lefter. His warm and kind communication with guests truly stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our time at the facility. Our room was meticulously cleaned every day, which we greatly appreciated. My family and I were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this place to others.

The host Mr. Lefteris and the whole staff were amazing and very helpful. I would give them the highest rank “20” Such host is much in demand in hospitality. We received a very warm welcome as we arrived also at the departure we received a very warm farewell. We didn’t ask for breakfast but once we tried. It was fantastic and plentiful and various. The flat was cosy with a small balcony but the view was breathtaking. We had a kitchenette and also a kitchen two bathrooms and comfortable beds. We used only twice the AC because it was not warm during the night. The janitor did her job every day. The rooms were as clean as a new pin. 200 m to the seaside a bit steep but good to do some sport. We went upstairs because the flat was on the third floor but it kept us vitalized. I would definitely come back here again whenever I travel to Thassos.
