This is the ideal place to stay if you want peace and quiet, I stayed for a wedding nearby but it is a peaceful place in the country. The hostess was so attentive and went out of her way to help me. You can order dinner with her for a little extra, lovely tasty food. Breakfast was plenty enough as well. Lovely fresh local French food. The House is an old house, and you can get a real sense of history in the building..

lovely peaceful location. very warm welcome. very kindly changed our room to one with air con as not all rooms had it. gorgeous 16/17th century property with beautiful features from these times. booked evening meal as well which was delicious and so nicely presented. as was breakfast the following morning. also very handy for visiting the nearby car museum which is also excellent!

A beautiful Manoir in a rural area close to La Gacilly and it’s arts and craft attractions and to ever popular Rochefort-en-Terre. Lovely friendly hostess who can prepare you an excellent evening meal. We look forward to a return soon

The Manoir itself was authentic, homely and comfortable. The hosts' welcome was very warm and their advice very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Proximity to the beautiful village of La Gacilly was an added bonus.

Beautiful house situated in a quiet part of the countryside, close to various pretty towns and interesting megalithic sites. Our host, Frédérique, provided an excellent dinner on the night of our arrival, and delicious breakfast in the mornings.

“A luxurious trip back in time...”

What a charming old. rural property with history oozing from it's walls. A large comfortable warm bedroom, well appointed with a comfortable bed, a lovely hot shower and expansive views over the well groomed garden. The crowning glory was the meal cooked for us by the owner and served in the 16th century dinning room. It was better than meals we have paid hundreds of Euros for and at a fifth the price. We finished with a lazy, homemade breakfast of yoghurt, croissants, breads, jams and coffee. A memorable stay(we have more than 180 Bookings.com reviews)...we didn't want to leave.
