The rooms are with traditional furniture, traditional builded houses. The garden is beautiful with different trees and palms. The food cooked in the hotel restaurant is delicious but a lot more expensive than in the city. They organized for us trips around Siwa which were amazing - 100$ per person for all excursions. Safari in the deset, the Shali fortress, the Fatnas island, the Cleopatra spring, Mountain of the dead, Alexander temple, the salt lakes. We are very pleased with Ahmed - one of the driver for the trips. He speaks English and this was wonderful because we had a lot of questions.

I would like to say THANK YOU to the hotel staff. We arrived in Siwa early in the morning and they allowed us to check in in the morning and allowed us to have breakfast without extra payment. On our last day we were allowed to check out in the evening before departure of our bus. Very nice area, comfortable rooms. During My next trip to Siwa I would like to stay here again. The staff was exceptional and made our staying greatly enjoyable. Even though we arrived past the lunch time, they prepared varied and delicious specially for us. The manager (Yousef) arranged all the excursions for us at good price and made us feel at home. We even received an upgrade in our room as there was availability. A place to stay at in Siwa 100% recommendable if you value details and want to relax while feeling cared for.

This resort exceeded my expectations. Before I even reached the property, Yousef reached out to make sure the time of my arrival. Once I arrived, I was blown away with how beautiful and charming it is. The property is so clean and spacious. I loved how clean the rooms were and how close the restaurant was from my room. There is a very clean pool, restaurant and so much cute decor to look out. They really embody the feel of being in Siwa. The hospitality was something I cant explain, Yousef was so accommodating, warm and he made me feel like family. The resort offers tours so that took the hassle of having to find someone to take me around which was amazing on such short notice. I would come back and stay here every time! 10/10 I would recommend Siwa Shali Resort to anyone coming to Siwa Oasis. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler, just as if I was with my family. Just be aware that they don't take credit cards so make sure to bring cash and there is also an ATM in the town.
