The host was not very responsive (offering only overpriced taxi service and extra fee for AC), there was a cockroach in the room. On both nights the electricity went out as the region was affected by power outages – which is outside of the control of the owners, of course but usually hotels have Electricity backup.

Old rooms are shabby and not worth the price. Rooms in the new building are way better. Unfortunately you cannot see which room you are booking. Nice garden to sit in but lots of flies in the morning and sandflies in the evening. Breakfast was good. Road to center and to Cleopatra spring is not nice. There are hotels that have nicer surroundings. Except for the friendly manager noone speaks English. Excellent organisation of a good private car to/from Cairo and Alexandria ($ 130/100).

“Overall good”

I was kindly allowed to do an early check in due to the overnight travel from Cairo and was picked up from the centre. Amany was great and very friendly but the only english speaker in Seliya. The place is located away from town centre so it's not affected by its noise , however I didn't sleep for 2 nights in a row because of the hotel's dog barking in the internal garden.. which went on for hours in the middle of the night... This was the big and only minus for me. There is not much going on near the hotel but the tuk tuk to town is only 40 Egyptian each way and Amany can arrange food delivery if needed. The place is really pretty and lots of places in the garden when you can hang out or relax, mosquitos permitting. Would be nice to see some mosquitos traps so that the time in garden is more enjoyable.

“peaceful escape in the desert”

A very peaceful and beautiful place. Amany is the best host - a calm, warm and helpful presence. Close enough to the main town (we walked once and it was about 20 mins) but you can get to anywhere for a cheap price in a tuk tuk. The desert safari was incredible! we opted for a private one with dinner and it did not disappoint - so much fun with incredible stars and Amany booked us the best chef in town who cooks the food under the sand. Would recommend!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They ordered our bus tickets that we had problems with ourselves. They gave us a free ride to downtown. Honestly all of them are such welcoming and nice staff. The breakfast included was huge and outstanding. And also there were so many cute animals all around us like dogs, cats and a turtle. 1 dog even gave birth to the cutest puppies while we were there so if you want a cuddle puddle with some new born puppies, this is the place to be. We were so relaxed and the accomodation is the most beautiful I have seen in all of egypt. The photos do not lie!!!

Very spacious and clean, big and beautiful outside area where you can comfortably hang out and chill with your friend by the fire when its chilly. Lastly the staff was so helpful and friendly we didnt really plan our trip out and they helped with everything

“Beautiful place to stay & friendly staff”

Beautiful & calm place to enjoy the atmosphere of Siwa, close to the center and the staff is so friendly. I booked a single room. The room was big and clean. It has a private bathroom, AC and small balcony with a view on the hotel garden.

The bungalow room was so cute and cozy and the staff was extremely friendly. Wifi was strong, lighting was nice.

I stayed in a dulux room in new block which was very large and clean, saterlite tv, large bathroom plenty of hot water, no ac but wall fan and seprate free standing fan which i prefered ,grounds very nice, manager spoke very good english and allways helped when asked Tuc tuc into or from town centre was 30 pounds and 5 minutes but too far to walk

“Wholesome people in a beautiful hotel”

The hotel itself is really cute and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is really good and includes wifi. Best of all the staff. Amany, the host, is a fantastic woman that helped me with all my tours. Youssif showed me around one of the days and he was amazing as well. If you come to Siwa you have to stay here, 100% recommended.

We were so lucky to end up staying at the Seilyaa Siwa Inn. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was yummy (we especially loved the whipped feta!), but what made the visit so special was how Amany went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. She helped us see parts of Siwa we would have never seen otherwise, arranged for us to try arts and crafts with local experts, and helped organize fantastic daytrips around the area. She was always available if we had any questions and would check in to make sure all was going smoothly. We felt so taken care of and can't wait to return on our next trip to Egypt. Anyone would be so lucky to stay at Siwa Inn during their visit to the oasis -- truly one of the best hotel experiences we've had!
