We loved our stay at Ahmed’s place! The apartment was clean, the WiFi was the best, fastest in the area, breakfast was delicious, and staff members were kind and helpful. Ahmed can arrange tuktuk rides and desert tours, the place is super convenient and at night it’s very quiet. Really great experience.

Everything was great. The beds are very comfortable. The room and bathroom are very clean. The place has a kitchen that you can use and a water filter for drinking. So you don't have to buy water for drinking. The owner Ahmed helped us with everything. He organized a trip for us at a reasonable price. I recommend everyone to stay in this place

We had such a good time there. We had the whole Appartement on our own and the wifi and also the kitchen was really good. The view of the roof top was so stunning and the apartment was really close to everything. The stuff was so helpful and tried to fix any of our needs. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I recommend this place to everyone. The place is very clean. And close to everything. Shali Castle is very close, a two-minute walk from the place. The view is of the palm farms and the old Shali mountain. Ahmed, the owner, was wonderful and exceeded all expectations. He organized a trip for us to all the tourist attractions at a reasonable price. He also organized a trip to the desert for us. It was an amazing experience. I recommend everyone to try it. I thank Ahmed for everything. I hope to come back again.

“Great 2BR Apartment!”

Owner, Ahmed, was helpful and friendly. Apartment looks like in the pictures. Safari tour organised by Ahmed was amazing. Didnt get to thank our driver Syaheed (not sure if that's spelt correctly) but he's the best driver in Siwa! Also, Ahmed acceded to our late check out request and went the extra mile to help acquire our bus tickets to Cairo!

“Cannot Recommend to Others”

Something to bear in mind... In February 2024 my wife and I booked 3 nights at Quiet Home. We paid about $US 24 per night for a room with shared bathroom. We have been backpacking around Egypt for almost one month always staying in budget accommodation ($US 20-35 per night). We travelled to Siwa by public bus and arrived early in the evening. A motorcycle tuk-tuk driver (Abdullah) picked us up at the bus station and drove us the 900m to Quiet Home. Our initial impression was disheartening. Quiet Home is a recently built, somewhat characterless, concrete box structure put into service before work is finished. The front of the building is currently a terrible mess of building materials, waste and rubbish. The accommodation we were given was a room in a two-bedroom apartment which hadn’t been prepared for new guests. A pair of boots and a trouser belt littered the floor; the fridge hadn’t been cleaned; the washing machine contained a 10cm deep pool of dirty brown water; the bed sheets were not clean; a large pile of used bed sheets had been thrown into the bottom of a wardrobe; there weren’t enough blankets to keep us warm in February; there were no towels, soap or toilet paper and the floor, walls and surfaces of the entire apartment were dusty and dirty. The room didn’t just need a clean, it needed a deep clean. To add to our dismay, within minutes of our arrival all the lights in the apartment mysteriously went off. Abdullah eventually managed to find the circuit box and got the lights working again, but they kept failing every few minutes so we simply could not accept this accommodation. We phoned the owner (Ahmed) and he arrived about 25 minutes later. Having looked at the room he apologised and invited us to use a room in another hotel that he owns (called Nainshal Siwa) but said we would have to return to Quiet Home the following day (albeit not to the dirty room). Continued.

It was unforgettable experience. Ahmed was very nice and kind. I recommend desert tour with him. The room was cozy and comfortable. The blanket was very thick and warm. You can cook in the kitchen. Not far from downtown. You can arrive in downtown by foot in 10 minutes. THX.

“Nice room (and dark at night), everything we needed”

The room had everything we needed. Good AC, mosquitoes net, repelent plug in, dark at night and during the morning (something new in Egypt?) and nearby the main square (few blocks away). We loved Siwa, and Ahmed is a great host, he picked us up from the bus station and helped us with our laundry. Thanks for everything you did during our stay!
