Just 2 km from Sistiana Beach, this family-run hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The picturesque Duino Castle is a 5-minute drive away. Rooms at Hotel Alla Dolina overlook the Mediterranean Sea, the garden or the nearby wood. Each includes a private bathroom complete with hairdryer. A continental-style breakfast is served daily, and includes fruit juice, biscuits, fresh fruit, as well as cheese and cold cuts. Gluten-free options are also available on request. UNESCO-protected Roman ruins at Aquileia are a 35-minute drive from Alla Dolina. The hotel is well placed for exploring the Falesie di Duino Nature Reserve, as well as visiting Duino Mithraeum. Buses to Trieste stop in front of the hotel, and it is a 20-minute ride to the centre. Monfalcone Train Station is 9 km away, and parking is free.

Although it wasn’t stated anywhere that they also offer a gluten-free breakfast option, they prepared it without any problems after being informed in advance. Everything was packaged so that contamination really wasn’t possible, and they were very friendly.

Lovely, very comfortable b&b. Fantastic breakfast. Good car parking. Just a short walk from the town ( bars and restaurants) And a few minutes away from the cliff walk to Duino.

“Very good.”
The staff is very helpful, the most important information was provided without asking at check-in. They recommended programs, restaurants, and even indicated that if we wanted to go to the beach and didn't want to go with our own car, that could be done. They were also available late at night for a drink or a request. The breakfast is plentiful and good, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the inner part of the city, the beaches, or the supermarket are close. We spent four pleasant days with the family.
