“Pela Apartments”

Lovely cosy apartment that had a brand new bathroom. All of it was extremely clean. Great balcony big enough for 2 chairs and a table that caught the morning sun and later on became a retreat from the heat. In a quiet location and just five minutes away from a beautiful harbour and inlet. The host was very friendly and did everything possible to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Ideal place for solo traveller or couple to stay if you are on a budget. Would not hesitate to return.

The apartments are set among orange trees on a quiet street about five minutes walk from local shops, restaurants and the small harbour. Our upstairs apartment had two balconies and a lovely view of the mountains. It was spotlessly clean and sheets and towels were changed alternate days. Yannis was very helpful and provided us with an easy chair and hairdryer, as well as a starter pack for breakfast. This is a traditional Greek apartment, not somewhere ultra- luxurious.

Yiannis was a special host that even cooked us an octopus meal. Apartment was spotless and linen changed regularly. Area was quiet and within easy walking distance to the restaurants and harbour area.

We prefer to stay in traditional Greek accommodation. The property is very traditional but to a high standard.

Great location, the owner could not do enough he cooked for us on two occasions fish and chicken which was very good. Towels and bed sheets were changed every third day. We were told at the start if you need anything just ask, it's your home for the next two weeks so it's important to me the owner that you enjoy your time.

Highly recommend! Amazing place to stay! Very clean and comfortable. Every two days - new towels, bed was properly done and apartment was cleaned. Very calm place, peaceful at night. Perfect location - only 5 min to the beautiful city center and 5 min to the nice beach, 2 min to the supermarket. The host is fantastic! He was also cooking delicious dishes for me. It was the best vacation!

Do not come here and expect modern clean lines, this is traditional Greek hospitality, the room was clean and very comfortable, the apartment is only a couple of minutes walking to restaurants/shops and one of our favourite bars “The Jolly Roger” with great live music. Beautiful beaches within a few minutes walk. We visited Spinalonga while staying here which was less than an hours drive. A massive thank you to our wonderful host Yannis, who went out of his way to make our holiday special, even making us his homemade Moussaka on our last evening!!

The Host was really nice, very hospitable and very easy to talk to. There are about 8 apartments so it was like in a small hotel, so we enjoyed privacy, and at the same time if we needed something we could contact host. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable, very clean, the bed and the pillow were very comfortable. The area is very very safe and inside a residential area of Sissi, and it was quiet and relaxing here. We had two balconies which were sunny at different times of a day, so we could always sit either in sun or in shadow, whatever we choose. The views from the balconies were really beautiful. The hob was very good and easy to operate. The fridge was very quiet, we did not hear it at all. The apartment is in the best location in Sissi, as 2 minutes on the left is a center of Sissi and a small beach, and about 5 minutes walk on the right is the best beach in the area which has calm clear water and is safe for families with children and good for swimming (and two other small beaches on a way). Also 2 minutes from the apartments there are are also two local supermarkets and the sea. Also it very safe to walk, as there were no dogs on streets at all, so it was very good to walk for me, as I am a bit afraid of dogs, and I could walk everywhere on my own. We had really good holidays !

I had a the best stay with Yiannis and his family. The apartments have everything you need for the perfect holiday and are very clean. Make sure to visit the Kalimera Kriti Beach. A few days ago, my wife and I came to rest in the Pela apartments. The owner picked us up from the bus and took us to our apartment. He was very friendly throughout our stay, welcoming us with crayfish and a fruit basket. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a private balcony and a beautiful view of the mountains, where it was nice to spend time in the morning and evening. The bed where we rested was large and with an excellent mattress. Every second day we had cleaning and fresh towels. He cooked for us and offered pasticio. At any time we could turn to him for help if we needed. Shops, restaurants and the sea were a 5-minute walk from the house where we lived. The apartments are located in a quiet area, where there is no main road. The courtyard is very beautiful, it is full of exotic plants and trees. I highly recommend Pela apartments for relaxation!!!

Perfect peaceful place to stay for families or couples where you can enjoy your vacation surrounded with the garden full of lemons ,oranges and other fruits. The room was very clean ,fresh towels and bed covers every 3rd day. The owner super helpful and polite for welcoming we had a little taste of Greece which was fresh fruits homemade jam and thypical for the region homemade raki . if you have some question or need a help dont be shy to ask Yanis will help you as much as he can. The small village centrum is just 5minutes walk from the apartment same with the beach. If you looking for place to get rest out of city crowd which is not super expensive is the best place you can go. . Highly recommend!thank you very much .
