Overview
Consisting of 9 traditional buildings scattered in flower-filled gardens, this hotel perfectly combines the services of a 4-star establishment and a friendly atmosphere. In this wonderful setting of lush green gardens accented by bright flora, you can take a relaxing dip in our large outdoor pool, surrounded by sun loungers. At a distance of only 100 metres lies the picturesque natural harbour of Sissi, a well-known fishing village. To the west, you can find the tourist resorts of Hersonissos and Malia with its archaeological sites, while to the east, there is another very popular resort, Agios Nikolaos. After a day of exploring, you can return to a delicious meal at Maritimo Beach Hotel. Dine on the terrace with the magnificent sea view and choose from international, Greek and Creten cuisine. The hotel regularly hosts Greek nights with folk dancing, the perfect way to round off another perfect day in Crete.

“Absolutely Fabulous Hotel”
The hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants etc. All the staff are very efficient and friendly. Great variety at breakfast and staff are constantly replenishing teas, coffees, etc. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it

A Perfect Seaside Escape I had an amazing stay at this hotel, located right on the beachfront with stunning ocean views. The atmosphere was quiet and pastoral—ideal for relaxation. Despite its peaceful vibe, it’s just a 2-minute walk from all the main attractions in town, which made exploring super convenient. Breakfast was a daily treat: rich, varied, and delicious. Room service was outstanding—fast, friendly, and always attentive. The entire hotel staff went above and beyond, offering warm and professional service that made me feel truly welcome. If you're looking for a serene getaway with top-notch service and a prime location, this hotel is a fantastic choice.

“Amazing!”
Loved everything about this hotel! The pool was amazing and cold/refreshing, just as the breakfast. Every day fresh baked eggs, pancakes, cold fruit; in one word perfect. The staff was so friendly and they helped you with every question. We also did a massage, this was also great and so relaxing. We loved the location and sissi is such a cute Greek village!

“Beautiful location”
It was so convenient to the sea, shops and restaurants. The view was sensational and it was so quiet and peaceful. The staff were so friendly. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. I was given a surprise voucher to the spa by my family which was so lovely and the spa staff made it a truly wonderful experience. The free drink at the bar as a thank you for choosing the hotel was a nice touch and we both enjoyed a mojito. Plenty of parking space. Breakfast was delicious with a constant offer of coffee. A perfect start to the day.

“An average experience”
Second time we have stayed here. Not as good this time though. The staff, except for the man behind reception, is lovely. The pool is beautiful but quite cold (compared to the sea) Athena at the pool bar is so obliging and friendly. The room was fine (sea view) but the air conditioning didn’t work and we had a problem with mosquitoes. The quality of the breakfast was certainly far inferior to last year. There seemed to be lots of tour groups staying.

“Exceptionally clean and friendly in a beautiful part of Sissi.”
We loved the location of the Hotel. Its away from the main street, so a 5 minute or so walk to there and the main harbour. The staff are truly fabulous - they work so hard, are so friendly and helpful, and make you feel at home right away.
