“Paradise”

The lovely steff made us feel right at home. The garden is so so beautiful and the atmosphere is incredible. It is the perfect location to cut a long drive in half. There is the most amazing breakfast that she prepares for you, and also a lovely restaurant with great food just down the street. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting something special!

The grounds /garden were truly splendid. Landscape beautifully and very lush green and full of chirping frogs. They had made the most of the beautiful landscape. The little chalets/huts sit read out in these gardens. The breakfast was good with fruit, nice bread, jams, home-made cookies and cooked eggs of your choice.

Everything! The units are positioned within the most fantastic gardens, with nature a plenty. Inge is the most fantastic host, calm, contented, cannot do enough. There is a swimming pool filled naturally by spring water and a well kept pond boasting several varieties of fish. Inge prepared and presented an amazing and colourful breakfast of locally sourced ingredients. If you are heading to the Caribbean coast and you should. This is an essential stopover!

Although we only stayed for one night, this place totally exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean and tidy. The bathroom looked brand new — very fresh, perfectly clean, and with a large, great shower. The owner is absolutely fantastic. Because of heavy traffic, our arrival was delayed a lot and we only got there after 11 pm. She was incredibly kind, told us not to worry at all, and waited for us. When we arrived, she personally showed us to our room and explained everything. In the morning, there was even a beautiful parrot playing on our porch, which made the experience feel truly special. We also decided to add breakfast, and it turned out to be the best breakfast we had in Costa Rica — fresh-squeezed juice, fresh fruit, homemade pancakes, and freshly baked bread prepared by the owner. Everything was delicious and served in such a warm, friendly atmosphere. We recommend this place with all our hearts.

The best thing is the garden, it looks amazing and idyllic. The lodge is very modern with a good bed. The hosts are from Belgium and very friendly. I would recommend the breakfast.

The host was lovely. We arrived quite late and she welcomed us very nicely. The place is stunning It is a bit away from the city but perfect is you want to feel quiet and surrounded by the nature

A quiet little house in a beautiful setting. The owner is very helpful and attentive. A perfect place to stay before or after rafting on the Pacuare River, or as a stop along the way.

The room was perfect with a beautiful view on this amazing tropical garden. Pool was super clean and refreshing. Our host was amazing and took good care of us. Everything was perfect 😍

Beautiful location - our balcony looked directly over the river and could see/hear lots of birds!
