Relaxing place

The room, the amenities and the actual service of the personel was spot on. Great value for money and the view is to die for.

I like how the big room was, it fits my family of four. Recommended to a big family.

Very quiet place to relax, with many little things to appreciate, Like every morning fresh bakery at our terrace. The room has everything you need, the pool and everything else was very clean and kept in good shape. We would recommend for a relaxing getaway

Amazing place, really friendly staff beautiful surroundings. It's actually for me close to a 10. The only 2 things are, a bit far from most places, so rent a car if you want to visit other places around the island (they do accommodate parking, and if you are there for peace and quiet it's ideal) and there is not really a phone signal there. But it's really really stunning, peaceful, amazing staff and great food. Not too pricey for a resort. All by all it was really good!

I had the great pleasure of staying in one of the spacious beachfront suites directly facing the ocean, with uninterrupted sea views and a wonderfully peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere. For anyone looking to truly relax and unwind, Gabayan Riviera is a hidden gem. This hotel is ideal for slightly older guests or anyone seeking peace, nature, and tranquility. It is exceptionally quiet and far away from mass tourism — and that is exactly what makes it so special. The restaurant offers good and tasty food, the three swimming pools are very well maintained, and the comfortable sun loungers invite you to simply switch off and enjoy the day. I would especially like to highlight the outstanding staff — attentive, warm, and always genuinely committed to making the stay as pleasant as possible. One small experience perfectly reflects the flexibility and kindness of the team: I asked at reception about a hairdresser because I couldn’t find one in town. The receptionist immediately offered to ask one of the staff members if he could cut my hair. The next day at 5 PM, I was sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea while the hotel’s gardener gave me a haircut — and he did a really excellent job! I truly appreciated how uncomplicated and heartfelt this solution was. It is exactly these personal moments that make a stay unforgettable. A special thank you to the “haircutting gardener” — that was service with heart. The location is intentionally rural. It takes about five to ten minutes by scooter to reach the main road. But this peaceful seclusion is part of the charm. I really enjoyed the entire southern area of Siquijor — lots of nature, very little noise, and a truly authentic atmosphere. A real highlight are the nearby waterfalls — the stunning Cambugahay Falls, the natural and serene Lugnason Falls, and also the beautiful Lagaan Falls. I completely fell in love with these places — turquoise water, lush greenery, and an almost magical ambiance.

“Perfect place on Siqijour”

Amazing place right on the ocean approx halfway around the island from the ferry port. Great for an overnight getaway . The food from the kitchen restaurant was amazing...and there was lots of it...recommend the chicken Lauya...so tasty and good for the soul.

The room was big and nice, although location is a bit far, it is worth it. Staff are friendly. Accommodation is good value for money.

I enjoyed my suite. Was really nice, a lot of space.

The staff is incredible, always ready to help and very reactive. The rooms are spacious. Nice swimming pool. Stunning view.

Beautiful place, right down to the water. Everything is good, nice rooms, nice pool. The view was fantastic. Staff was so friendly. If you're looking for a place to relax and do nothing really, other than go and see a few things around the area, it's perfect. If you wanna party, find something closer to the towns. All in all a great place, can only recommend ❤️

Nice location. Comfortable rooms, housekeeping and daily towels provided! Nice view even tho no beach nearby. You need scooters for sure to go around. Would come back certainly!

The hotel facility was exquisite. The view was really nice, overlooking the ocean, and we liked the dogs and cows around the property. I liked how complete the facilities were in the room as well, complete with fridge, kettle, TV etc. Pretty near to some tourist attractions.

The Receptionist made the stay. She was helpful and went out of her way to accommodate. Burger was delicious and big. The Resort was nice except for the items mentioned in "what I didn't like".

“Beautiful sea view”

Siquijor is wonderful - highly recommend. We arrived at Gabayan Riviera late at night, so it was a lovely surprise to wake up to such a beautiful view of the pool and the sea. The room was clean, staff are really friendly and helpful. We hired a mini-jeep/van for two days via the hotel, to take us around the island. The location of the hotel is quite far away from the main bit where all the restaurants and bars are, which we didn't mind too much. The hotel has a restaurant with decent food options. Lovely breakfast view. The pool was clean and we really enjoyed relaxing here at the end of the day.
