“Loved every day here!”

We liked everything here! We only booked 3 nights first and then extended for a whole week. Kevin provides everything you could wish for. You can also make your own coffee in the morning and enjoy the amazing view from the balcony. The guesthouse is spacious so perfect for a couple or two friends. The house sits a bit outside of San Juan maybe 5mins by motorbike. But to get around here on the island you need a motorbike anyways. Kevin and his wife were so welcoming and we felt home the first minute we arrived. Thanks for everything! :)

“Peace & Quiet, Fully Furnished, Great Hosts, Privacy”

OK so where to start? There is so much to like about this guesthouse. - Privacy, peace and quiet for me are the main things. The guesthouse is not surrounded by other accommodation, nor any shops. You have your own little cottage with trees all around and you feel like you are in your own space. - Free water refills. No need to buy plastic bottles over and over again, this is a massive plus being able to fill up before you head out. - Large room with a lot of floor space inside as well as table space, some chairs and hanging space in the bathroom. - The bed and pillows are comfortable. - There is a large balcony that looks west and you can watch the sunset over the island of negros or the ocean depending on the time of year. - Full sized fridge in the room as well as a microwave, kettle, cups etc. - There is a basin for washing your hands in the main part of the room. - Shower area is large, all the toiletries are provided (body wash and shampoo) as well as hand soap provided at the bathroom sink. - Fan provided in the room (AC is an extra 250 pesos per day from memory, but it is a new modern quiet AC). - As you're located on the hill you have cooler temperatures in the guesthouse as you will get a breeze come through. Windows are also tinted and the guesthouse surrounded by trees which all keeps it cooler inside. - Towels provided were good quality, plush and thick. - Coffee and tea were provided. - Walking distance to Lucy's scooter rental which is one of the best on the island. - Close to the island's best gym (Golden Gorilla Gym), - Location is perfect as it is only 4-5 minutes into San Juan but you can get away from the noise back to your own private space, no road noise, no roosters (maybe off in the distance). - Scooter parking. - Amazing host who is super helpful and friendly. Will offer suggestions or try to improve your stay if you have any suggestions about things.

“A peaceful paradise”

This is the best place to stay on Siquijor Island! The view is absolutely beautiful! (especially the sunsets)The host Kevin and his wife Beth are the greatest people ever, they are incredibly kind and thoughtful! Kevin gave great advice about what to see and do on the Island as well. The place is clean and the surroundings are very peaceful. It was hard to leave because we enjoyed it soo much there. I can't wait to come back and stay at Shambala Paradise again! Thanks Kevin and Beth! It was a pleasure to meet you both.

It was amazing!!! Everything is amazing there. The guest house is really cute. The view is unbelievable beautiful. I loved to drink my coffee in the morning on the terrace. It's peaceful and there is ever a bit wind so it's comfortable about the temperature. You can see amazing sunsets there. And it's also really nice to stay there while it's raining. I saw a rainbow from there too. The owners are very very kind and helpful. They asked everyday if we need some help. Doesn't matter if it's about groceries, transport or some informations- Kevin and Beth are there for helping. The house is very private. No one is around. But it's also safe. We love this guest house. Not just about the comfortable house or the terrace with this great view. We also love it because we found friends there. You should visit Shambala Paradise if you are at Siquijor.

The place is defiantly recommended!! Magnificent housing. Your paradise, no neighbors around, just an amazing view. Well-maintained secluded beautiful house territory. On the other hand, if you want, just 10 minutes on a bike to the bar street of San Juan. The house itself is well designed (it never gets hot) and thought out to the smallest detail: the host has taken care of all the things you might need, from convenient storage spaces to coffee. The host himself is incredibly attentive and responsive, always in touch, thank him very much!! We have a great time in Shambala Paradise!!

“Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value”

Immaculately clean & tidy, with bright décor, modern appliances (bar fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, aircon) & a view to die for from the balcony out the front!.. Very safe part of the country... had no trouble & zero incidents all my time on the island... Sunsets here are AMAZING... they remind you of what really matters & what makes life worth living...

Everything was awesome. We really enjoyed it there and trust me the view is on point. We definitely come back since we fell in love with the place and the island. And one more thing about Kevin and Beth they are the most awesome and kind people. They made our stay memorable by hanging out with them in their beautiful place.

Amazing location with amazing views. Great spot, just 5 min by motorbike. Up on a hill, the property is very quiet and peacful. The owners, Kevin and Beth, were so kind and friendly. The room was clean and equipped with everything. We had a private terrace where we could see the best sunset ever. I highly recommend the place to everyone.
