Very good and calm place to stay, just bu the water so to wake up and go straight in the ocean. Nice facilities with a kitchen and the hosts were very kind and helpful!

This place is very remote so if you enjoy peace and quiet , breathtaking views of the sea , nature and rural atmosphere , you will definitely love it. Rent a bike from the owners and explore the island ; in the evening return to this blissful oasis.

The place is very relaxing. It is quiet and we love hanging out on the kitchen area. You have a nice view of the sea from there and you hear the water flowing down the aquarium which we love. It is also well maintained and very clean. My son loves playing around the garden and watch the fishes. During afternoon, it is also lovely to take a swim on the sea. When you are looking for a relaxing place, i can really recommend this place. Also the owners, Gemma and Manfred are really welcoming to us. And we had questions and concerns they really helped us. They also helped us with the transportation from the port and going back. All in all, we are happy with our stay 😊

Manfred were super nice. The place is verry quite. A little piece of paradise. Maybe a little bit far from San Juan but we were prepare to it. Scooter rental available and very usefull to get around. Thanks for your warm welcole Manfred ! We definitly recommended this place if you are looking something quite. Juste beware of the dogs on the read by night. They are not agressive but pay attention while driving.

We had a great stay at Gemma !We rent a scooter so we can explore the island.The Owners were really nice and friendly..They organized the scooter.the place was calm and clean !They organized the tuk tuk that drove us to the port !..I hirely recommendet this place !..Danke Manfred and Gemma :-)

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The owner is incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. The houses are cozy and comfortable, and you can enjoy a beautiful sea view from them. A perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended, 100%!

My two-night stay at Residencia Gemma was absolutely wonderful. The property features a beautiful and peaceful garden, along with clean and tidy rooms and kitchen. It's located away from the main road, making it incredibly quiet and serene. Just next to the room is a shallow sea where you can go snorkeling—I saw stunning sea stars, colorful little fish, and even coral reefs. It’s a perfect spot to relax and pass the time. The facilities are well-equipped; they have their own generator, and the indoor WiFi was the best I experienced during my entire stay on Siquijor Island. The hosts, Mon Fred and Gemma, are warm and welcoming. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable while also being very respectful of our privacy. I would definitely recommend Residencia Gemma to any friends or family visiting the island. If I have the chance to return to Siquijor, I will not hesitate to stay here again.

It is very isolated and basically inaccessible if you cannot ride a motorbike, which I wasn’t aware of. I ended up leaving early and going to a different place. Additionally, the host was extremely rude and shouted at me in a very aggressive and hostile way. I could elaborate but in short I would not recommend this property.

Best experience we had in the Philippines so far ! Manfred and Gemma are very caring hosts, always helpful and available to chat. They took care of transportation and motorbikes rental. This residence is the best one we had so far! Manfred and Gemma were the best hosts ever! Room is spacious, common areas with kitchen, fridge etc are more than huge and well maintained! Highly appreciated their help with everything! Highly recommend staying here!! If there is a bad review, it’s not right!

Very lovely place, we love the kitchen and the garden. There is a small beach nearby, and the sea view is really great. Best shower we had in Philippines!

Where do i start? I loved the little details. The soft towels. Clean room and spacious bathroom. Waking up to the ocean breeze. The outdoor kitchen that was kept so neat. The garden was sweped morning and afternoon. The quiet neighborhood.

The hosts, the shared kitchen and relaxing space, the cleanliness, the fact there are only two cottages, the ocean breeze, the neighbourhood, the quiet and peacefulness.

The place is next to the sea. Very nice space with accessibility to hot and cold water. Very friendly hosts - Manfred and Gemma

“Place to be in Siquijor!”

What can i say.. perfect! Manfred and Gemma were wonderful hosts. the room is big and comfortable with the outside kitchen as a nice touch. the view is stunning right by the water. It's a bit secluded so you need a motorbike but they arranged one for us even before we arrived! 10/10! Danke shön! 😊

Clean, excellent value, great hosts made us feel comfortable straight away. Great facilities to use for free. Free coffee and free water. Would recommend.
