A modern and very well-maintained property. Comfortable beds, a stunning view, a beautifully lit pool, and great food at the restaurant. Excellent location. The property is very quiet, and the city is just a few minutes away by scooter.

We loved our stay here. The view is spectacular and the setting is unreal. It feels extremely luxurious and an absolute bargain! The staff are soooo friendly, kind and helpful. It’s super clean! Rooms are very comfy and spacious. Restaurant is good. Would definitely return. It’s 10 minutes by moped from San Juan strip which is perfect as you really get a luxury holiday feel but can me down in the thick of it if you want.

Facilities are beautiful and the staff are fantastic. Rose the manager was exceptionally professional and helpful.

The place is perched high above the island, offering stunning panoramic views. We especially loved the café and the pool—both were perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The staff were incredibly accommodating and honest. A special mention to Ate Mayet, who found our lost wallet and returned it without hesitation—her integrity truly stood out. We hope the management recognizes her exemplary service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back!

Lovely location in the hills. A jeepney does pass the property on occasion but it’s much easier to have a car/bike. A van to or from the port arranged by the property is 800pesos.

My stay at La Candura hotel in Siquijor was a genuinely pleasant and memorable experience. Perched high up, the property offers a breathtaking view of the sea, allowing guests to enjoy a stunning landscape while relaxing in the pool. The atmosphere is particularly peaceful, thanks to the limited number of rooms, ensuring a quiet and uncrowded environment. The staff at La Candura stand out for their kindness and efficiency, greatly contributing to the quality of the stay. The option to rent a scooter directly at the reception is a significant plus, offering flexibility and ease to explore the beautiful island of Siquijor. The room was spacious and comfortable, with quality bedding that guarantees optimal rest. Amenities such as instant coffee and bottled water were appreciated. However, it should be noted that the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was lacking.

“Great stay with a view for island hoppers”

We booked 3 rooms for our large family. Stayed 3 nights. The view from the infinity pool and the balcony is a major bonus. The palce is new. Beds are quite comfortable. The shower place is separated by a curtain. We were a bit stunned to find out onsite that there was no hot water at this facility. It was hot so we managed but being with small kids one would like to take a hot shower at a lovely villa like this. The rooms are spacious. Cleaning on demand. The staff is very polite and welcoming. They are always smiling and ready to help out so this made our stay a fantastic experience. Very reasonable prices at the restaurant and bar. You’ll need a bike as the beach area is a 20min drive.
