There was a beach walking distance but did have to drive to the main part of town. The facilities were great and there were plenty of showers and toilets - never had to wait!

AMAZING hostel! The facilities are so beautiful, spacious, comfortable and with great attention to detail. It really has everything you’ll need, even free (filtered) coffee and breakfast. Renting a scooter was super easy and convenient (you’ll need a scooter or someone driving you though). SUPER social, there are events like family dinner, trivia or getting drinks together almost every night so it is really easy to connect with people and explore the island again. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in siquijor!

Staff were friendly and very helpful, the hostel creates opportunities to meet other travelers (Whatsapp group chat, group dinners, large communal spaces), bathrooms were plentiful and clean, great AC and fans in the dorm rooms (they turn off AC during the daytime to save power), very large dorm rooms, individual lockers for secure storage. I also liked how they had an all male dorm room, which is very uncommon with modern hostels. This place is very popular and for good reason. Book early to avoid disappointment!

Supportive staff to help you organizing your trip on the island but also offering tips on weather, organizing group trips or dinner.

This was my first time traveling solo, and at this hostel I was lucky enough to meet such kind and welcoming people. The entire staff and volunteers are incredibly helpful, attentive, flexible, and friendly, which made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. The hostel is very well organized and consistently clean, and I would even say the puppies are an essential part of the experience. Both the rooms and bathrooms were kept spotless, as well as the common areas. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into making each guest’s stay memorable. I especially appreciated the little details, like the “family dinners,” the great recommendations for places to visit, the option to rent a motorbike, and the assistance with transport to the ferry. It offers the perfect balance between a relaxing atmosphere inside the hostel and a fun social/party vibe outside. I also felt that the guests were very respectful when it came to noise and cleanliness, which made the environment even more enjoyable. Overall, I loved everything. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and experience!
