Beautiful and stylish villa just moments from the beach. The manager Rasitha ensured we had an amazing stay, organising safaris with breakfast packages, taxis, and more. The bird and wildlife is amazing, and a few really lovely restaurants a short walk down the beach. thank you for the lovely relaxing stay.

The house was fabulous. Exactly what we were after. It was maintained well, immaculately clean and with great service from Will, Rasitha and Nalaka. The meal prepared was very appetising and took into consideration my kids subtle aversion to spicy food. We saw it as our little refuge after travels through central Sri Lanka. A great place for a relaxing holiday with the family. Don't miss a trip to the Massage Shed in Hiriketiya while you are there. Great suggestion from Will. Thanks

“A wonderful private home next to the beach!”

We loved our stay at the green house! The location is perfect just a short stroll to the beach. The house was well equipped with lovely features and we loved the pool and the table tennis and boogie boards! The hosts are exceptionally helpful and the house keeper who came daily was so kind and friendly. We highly recommend this property.

“Beautiful villa in a magical spot”

We stayed one week at Sam and Wills villa and loved every second. The communication before we arrived was excellent and Will would check in sporadically to see how we were through the stay. The house was perfect for our family of four with two teenage children, they loved having their own room and bathroom! The house was spotless and the AC in the rooms was a blessing. The pool was fantastic! Nice and cool and the perfect size. The villa is only 1 minute walk to the quiet beach, which we enjoyed boogy boarding every morning. We were there over New Year, so unfortunately not much was open but we did enjoy going to the Halcyon a few times. We could easily cook for ourselves, it was not hard to get to Food city in Tangalle, we also enjoyed the chef coming to the house and cooking for us a beautiful Sri Lankan meal one night. The location of the house is perfect and we could easily tuk tuk to Hiraketiya and we had a day trip to Bundala National Park. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Green House, the visiting birds, squirrels, peacocks and monkeys were a highlight! I could keep on with all the amazing features, but best you go and discover them for yourselves.

Wow what a fantastic villa and beautiful garden, located just a 2 minute walk to the stunning Mawella Beach. The villa is totally private with a lovely pool, exceptionally clean, well equipped and furnished. Each of the 3 bedrooms have large ensuite shower rooms, extremely comfortable beds and high quality bed linen. The kitchen has everything you need to self cater including an oven, hob, large fridge, washing machine and a drinking water appliance. Mawella Beach has a good selection of restaurants and bars. Thank you Will and Sam for an excellent 4 days.

“Perfect place”

The Green House Mawella was a perfect oasis for our rest after a busy week of traveling. Beautiful Mawella beach with many restaurants is only 30 seconds by walk with many good restaurants. All facilities were crystal clean and the swimming pool was the best.
