“An enjoyable stay at Somerset Bencoolen”

The property was in a great location. Across the road from an MRT. It was close to Bugis shopping and not far from Raffles City. There were great eating places close by - in a food hall across the road was a great selection of food stalls. Really enjoyed the Japanese. On the corner of Bencoolen and Bras Basah Rd was a Taiwanese restaurant - great food.

The staff were the highlight of the hotel. The hotel was very central & with the MRT just across the road getting anywhere was made easy.

The amount of space in the room was great having an iron was helpful as we were going to a wedding! I enjoyed the coffee bags and loved the lap pool and swam every morning . The bed was comfortable nice and firm. The location was excellent nice and close to the station. The staff were very helpful . It was also great as that laundry facilities were available as we stayed 6 nights, a special mention to staff members May Ooi and Zaki Majid who when exceptional .

Location. Room sizes.

Location was very convenient, 1min from train station exit. Lots of food options in the area. Room wise, soundproofing was decent. Comfortable stay and pretty clean interior. Decently equipped kitchen, though can be better. Very helpful and friendly staff manning the front desk, great service! Also provides luggage storage service before check-in and after check-out.

“Somerset Bencoolen”

Close to Bencoolen MRT, the Albert st hawker centre, buses etc Apartment was perfect, well equipped kitchen. Pool was lovely after a hot day out. Staff were lovely and helpful

Professional and courteous staff

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; the room was very comfortable with plenty of storage space (a walk-in wardrobe) and it was super clean. The hotel’s location is good, right opposite Bencoolen MRT station. There are also several good and affordable restaurants nearby. There’s a great rooftop pool, which we were allowed to use again after checking out because our flight wasn’t until late in the evening. That was very helpful, as was the luggage storage.

Location and meaning full services

“Convenient, well stocked serviced apartment”

Great location, easy access to MRT and also has a convenient pick up and drop off zone outside for taxis or grabs. Rooftop pool and also a playground area for children. Industrial washing machines and dryers which can do wash or dry cycles under 1 hr. Very convenient but a bit expensive at ~$9 per cycle. Staff gave us adjoining rooms which was very considerate for our family. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, cleaning items etc. A fantastic cot (a real one, not a travel cot) with a comfortable mattress, mattress protector and cover was provided for our baby. Heaps of storage and shelving space.

Awesome apartment, spacious Great staff, I could check in a bit earlier and check out an hour later with no problem, highly recommended

“Location, plenty of spam”

The location is only 2-3 minutes from both Bencoolen and Bras Basah MRT stations, and various bus lines along Middle Rd and Bras Basah Rd, so access to public transport is great. The roof top pool is of a decent size with lounge chairs for your comfort, a wading pool for kids and a small spa type pool to relax in after a hot day out siteseeing. The deluxe apartment was very comfortable with a separate bedroom, separate lounge area and a nice kitchenette with full size fridge. The bed was large but could do with an upgrade, I think it has seen better days. Individual air con control in each unit. The staff were all very helpful and obliging, from reception to housekeeping. Plenty of clothes storage in the walk in robe.

“Property with great location”

My 3rd stay here. Excellent location with 2 MRT stations and bus stops are just less than 5 mins walk. Property is also surrounded by many restaurants, bars and food court. We appreciate the big safe provided.

Spacious rooms for Singapore standards and great central location. The nasi padang downstairs is fabulous. Daily cleaning is a plus. We have stayed here many times.
