“A great little hostel with access to all parts of the city”

The pods were very spacious with a comfortable mattress. Rooms were really clean and the AC worked. There is lots of random info and maps around the common area that you can look through even though there aren't any organized activities. There are three metro lines within walking distance and also numerous bus stops, so it's easy to get anywhere and get back. I love it's not in the middle of the downtown, as there are actually normal shops and restaurants around instead of just overpriced luxury ones. The breakfast is simple cereal, toast, coffee and tea, which is fine and you can always go to any of the dozens of restaurants around the corner. The laundry service is great and you can just leave your dirty clothes and pick them up later.

“The worst experience of our trip”

We stayed three nights at this hostel in Singapore, and it was honestly the worst experience of our entire trip. We paid around USD 1,000 for three nights in a shared room — we understand prices were higher because of the Formula 1, but it was still completely unreasonable considering the service and the conditions of the place. On the second day, my partner accidentally left the wristband with the room chip in the shared bathroom. When we came back, it was gone. At check-out, they demanded USD 15 for the wristband, even though it was clearly left inside the hostel. We tried to explain, but the staff was rude and inflexible. The owner was especially hostile. He said he had already called the police, that he wouldn’t accept our payment, and that we had to “take responsibility,” treating us almost like criminals over a simple wristband. We waited for quite a while, but when the police didn’t show up, we decided not to waste more time and left. As we walked away, the owner yelled at us from the street, which was very unpleasant and unnecessary. In short: aggressive attitude, unreasonable prices, and zero empathy. A very bad experience — we absolutely do not recommend this place.

The location was convenient and close to main attractions. The staff were polite and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable.

Beds are comfortable. Wifi was fast enough to watch videos. There was an international power socket next to the bed. Towel is included in the price.

“good hostel in a nice neighborhood”

affordable hostel, clean and tidy. cool aircon in the dorms at night. comfy bed pods. safe environment. good wifi. kitchen at ground floor with water, tea, etc... tv with netflix account. negatives: complicated check-in process after 6pm. very tiny sink in all bathrooms, annoyingly small (child size). dorms get stinky. too many instructions about everything everywhere.

“Definitely a Dream Lodge”

Dream Lodge is great. It is close to the metro and bus stops. The place is very clean and the wifi is excellent. . The staff was helpful and friendly. It was also very quiet for a dormitory. The bed was very comfortable and all the rooms were kept at the perfect temperature. They have lockers for your belongings, and I could fit my 80litre backpack as well as my 13litre day pack in the locker. The shower was amazing, and the bathrooms were kept very clean.

Better than expected

The place was good and mostly clean. The breakfast was sufficient. There was also filtered water available. My only concern was the bathrooms, which were pretty small and the floors were always wet. Changing clothes was tricky in the bathrooms. While the guests are to be blamed for the wet floor, the host has to look for solutions.

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel. The location was good, being only a short walk from the centre and Marine Bay There was a simple breakfast and you could help yourself to coffee and tea at any time. I especially liked the personal touch of having a welcome message at the side of my bed. The hostess was very helpful and sorted out a taxi for me to the bus terminal. I would stay there again.

It is great value for money. Very well located with many eateries and public transport nearby. No frills, clean and well kept. Has everything a backpacker or a low budget traveler needs. I would book again!
