the room was ok and clean but felt a little small.It felt a little dated tbh but it was cost relative i think. The shower was great but the bathroom door had to be open to enter the shower, which would be a little strange if you were not with a partner. an early check in was not possibel so we did a bag drop off and had a change in the toilet and went out for the day. Restaurants were close with a great priced Thai very close around the corner. The MRT is literally on the door step within 30 yards, with a direct line to Gardens by the bay and Marina Bay Sands. Loved the fact that you could do laundry on the upper floor and use a card to pay. i think it was $7 for a load and $7 for a dryer. Fairly close walk to Chinatown tourist trail ( awful tbh) . Loved the mix of architecture in the area. Pool looked great but we didnt use it sadly. Some great views form the roof and the pool deck.

Great location above MRT station. An outdoor pool was a nice bonus. Room service was quick to bring ice to room when requested.

Close proximity to MRT (especially purple line (NEL). The breakfast buffet was amazing. The room (426) was lovely-great views and very comfortable bed. The staff were all amazingly friendly and professional (loved the young breakfast host maître D) The pool was lovely - clean, warm and well maintained.

Our stay at the Dorset Hotel Singapore was really pleasant. The location is one of the best parts — it’s right above Outram Park MRT station and steps from Chinatown, so everything was easy to reach. We could walk or take a short ride to Orchard Road, Marina Bay, Sentosa, great hawker centres, shops, and cultural sites. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive in a way that felt genuinely welcoming. Having such a convenient location and warm service made our stay feel stress-free and enjoyable.

The 'double bed' was made up of two single beds, which results in falling through the centre as well as an uncomfortable mattress. No bedside lamp on one side, bathroom is tiny and open to the room, so very little privacy. No water provided.

Fantastic location and nice spacious rooms. We got the loft room and this easily fit 2 cots with lots of space. The hotel told me that no rooms could 2 cots and would not give me more than one cot. I brought my own and there was plenty of space.
