“Sustainable luxury in the heart of Mallorca”

Excellent location if you are looking to explore the entire island. Everything was perfect. From the warm welcome by lovely hosts to the last evening dinner in the garden, we enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sa Tanca Gran. Few recommendations: bring the mosquito repellent- they are everywhere on the island and you will need it wherever you stay. Also, we had brought our own Bluetooth speaker and didn’t mind the noise from the planes (the island is small and very popular, so there is no escaping it). The villa is situated 2km from Sineu, so you will need a car to explore the island, but also for routine shopping - there’s plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The villa itself is beautiful and very well equipped (towels , cutlery, crockery etc). As stated by other reviewers, the pictures do not give it justice. It really is a truly pretty setting. We highly recommend the villa for those looking for quiet holiday away from the noise and those looking for a perfect base to explore the island.

The property is very large set is a massive garden with several seating areas, a separate BBQ area and a large clean swimming pool.

The facilities were excellent, swimming pool, table tennis, outdoor kitchen with bbq. Separate area for making drinks and lots of seating options. We loved the animals , especially the pigs. Also Sineu is great place to explore the island. Sa tanca gran is a short drive from Sineu, it very peaceful and set in beautiful countryside.

The villa, grounds and location were perfect for us and Irene and Jaume were perfect hosts. The villa looks much more beautiful in real life and everything is extremely clean, including the pool and grounds. We were not bothered by unexpected visits and our hosts were available and very responsive to questions. It's a very quiet rural location, perfect for what we wanted, and is in a great location to begin exploring all around the island with a beautiful little town a few mins drive away. You definitely need a car!

The layout of the villa is large & spacious @ is set within fantastic, interesting gardens the villa is approached via an automatic sliding gate & along a winding drive through 200 year old gnarled olive trees & towering palms- speciation night with the sympathetic lighting there is a chill out area, a bar area with fridge & comfortable seating, a beautiful mosaic tiled pool with a pool house with shower & toilet , it also houses a table tennis table There is a bbq building with a cast iron griddle The house itself has 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with a massive lounge & kitchen Could not recommend this place highly enough

“amazing, perfect villa!”

Everything was actually so much better in real life,, the pool and garden seating area was so beautiful and relaxing, with 360 open views. There was the added bonus of a table tennis table, which we hadn't expected. Then on top of the that the hosts were so lovely as well! Will definitely be going back!

Absolutely stunning villa with such great attention to detail. we had the perfect stay. There is everything you could possibly need including bbq with an unlimited supply of wood, bar area with lots of comfy seats and fridge. The pool area has its own bathroom and table tennis. The hosts welcomed us with a selection of local meats, cheeses and fruits. They were so helpful throughout our stay. They popped in most days to make sure the pool was in perfect condition and helped us with advice on things to do around the island. The villa is 5 minutes in the car away from Sineu which is a stunning traditional market town with lots of bars and restaurants. Perfect place to stay for peace and quiet and to explore the island.
