“Lovely people, lovely hotel in a fascinating town”

Excellent hosts, fantastic place. One of our all time favourites.

Everything from the hosts to the house and location, the room was great, spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable, The decoration was fantastic, and everything had a story. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and hearty, the hosts wete very welcoming, the dog, Samba was adorable, and the care and attention to detail was second to none. The location was great, in the middle of the island,, great for expkorstion. There was also good eateries. Also we always managed to find a parking place close to by. In fact, the stay has been the highlight of our stay in Mallorca.

Staying with Carl and José at their hotel was truly a unique and amazing experience: their impeccable taste and their attentive hospitality truly sets this place apart. Staying at this hotel differs greatly from staying at a big hotel that caters to masses of tourists. It feels more like visiting friends in another country—friends with cultivated sense of style who’ve thoughtfully prepared everything for your holiday and who pick up on even the smallest details you mention, just like friends do. The breakfast was incredible, individually prepared for each guest, featuring high quality ingredients and incorporating different Mallorca's delicacies. The activity and sightseeing recommendations we received were absolutely spot-on and made a huge difference to our trip. We arrived without a plan and left having explored so many incredible places—thanks to José and Carl, who thoughtfully tailored suggestions for us each day. We also came unprepared for the beach, but they generously provided everything we needed: towels, a sunshade, even sunscreen! There’s honestly so much more I could say about how much we got out of this stay—it exceeded all expectations. I can’t recommend this accommodation highly enough and would book again in a heartbeat.

Carl and José are the nicest hosts. They have a lot of knowledge about the island and can give great recommendations for things to do. They were super helpful whenever we had any requests. The breakfast was always delicious, a big portion with local and fresh ingredients. Sineu is in a good location to explore all of the island, and there were many events in the middle of August that made the small town very lively. Overall, I can only recommend this hotel if you want to experience Mallorca.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel, perfectly located right in the center of Mallorca. The location made it incredibly easy to explore everything around us, from charming local spots to scenic walks, all just a short distance away. The host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with suggestions or anything we needed. It really made a difference in our stay. The food at the hotel was another highlight, fresh, delicious, and with a great variety that we looked forward to every day. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and cozy, it truly felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail and comfort was evident in every corner. Although the town itself is small, it has a surprising amount to offer. There are several great restaurants within walking distance, and we were lucky to be there during a time with multiple local events happening. The atmosphere was lively, yet still relaxed, a perfect balance. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Mallorca experience!

Hotel Es Picarol Sineu exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being welcomed into the warm, stylish, and soulful world of José, Carl, and Samba the dog. The atmosphere is more like visiting dear friends who lovingly host you and prepare breakfast with care. Every detail is thoughtful, and José and Carl’s kindness, passion, and genuine warmth shine through in everything they do. We especially loved starting the day with a peaceful breakfast in the courtyard garden. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay here. Sineu itself feels like the authentic heart of Mallorca—charming, unspoiled, and full of character.

Beautiful restored villa in the heart of a true Mallorcan town. Stunning exterior and interior renovation which is sympathetic to the original building structure and period. Joe & Carlos are born hosts, present, considerate and warm. Nothing has been missed, a fantastic breakfast every morning using fresh local produce. Perfect location for exploring the east and west coasts and Sineu itself is an endearing town with lovely bars and restaurants.

Absolutely loved our stay at Es Picarol Sineu! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were staying with friends rather than at a hotel. Carl and Jose are incredible hosts — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about making every guest feel at home. The breakfast was a real highlight. Instead of a standard buffet, Jose takes the time to ask what you like and puts together something fresh and delicious based on your preferences. It’s such a personal touch, and you can really taste the care that goes into it. The hotel itself is beautiful — every detail has clearly been thought through. The rooms are spotless and so tastefully decorated, with a lovely mix of traditional charm and modern comfort. The same goes for the rest of the hotel. It’s stylish, cozy, and incredibly well looked after. This is not your typical cold, impersonal hotel experience. It’s warm, unique, and full of character. We felt relaxed and genuinely cared for the entire time. Highly recommend Es Picarol Sineu to anyone looking for something special in Mallorca. We’ll definitely be back!

There are hotels where you stay in and there are special places where you live in, Es picarol is a very special place. We have been in a lot of hotels in Mallorca but this one in Sineu is different. Carl, Jose and Samba, thanks a lot for everything, We are counting the days to come back!

My husband and I stayed at Es Picarol Sineu with Carl and José this summer, and I cannot stop raving about our beautiful experience to all our family and friends! The experience they have created and curated is special, and unmatched. Carl and José, along with their sweet dog Samba, were the most generous, kind, and warm hosts. Every day was perfect. We would wake up to Jose's delicious and authentic breakfast every morning, which always exceeded our expectations. Carl and José would always go out of their way to ensure we were happy and would even check in with us on our itinerary for the day of exploring the island. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and felt like home with everything that we needed and more. I am dreaming about the day we can come back and visit Es Picarol. Thank you Carl and José!! We miss you and can't wait to visit again soon.

“Beautiful, super friendly and cosy hideaway in Sineau”

The hospitality- Carl and José are super nice and it’s so familiar since it’s a very small accommodation. We loved the talks with them, they are very open minded and funny! They will give you loads of tips for the island if you need it. The breakfast and coffee was amazing and is prepared by José. We ate the breakfast in the garden, which is super cosy and with lots of flowers.Moreover their dog Samba is super nice and peaceful. We loved her to be around. Everything they do here they do it with love and care. We will return and also recommend this place to everyone! Thank you so much!

“Fantastic hotel”

We had a fabulous time at Es Picarol in Sineu. Carl and José are amazing hosts and made our stay really special. The building is a traditional Mallorcan house magnificently refurbished a few years ago. Sineu is very convenient to explore the island. Everything was is so perfect and looking forward to go back.

This was the perfect stay in a beautiful, small hotel, that is owned and run by the most generous and lovely people. The room was spacious, the interior design was gorgeous all around, the breakfast was delicious, and Carl and José were kind and helpful. We loved our time there. We even got a goodbye present when we left. Definitely recommend!

I can highly recommend Es Picarol. We had such a great stay! Carl and José are such wonderful, lovely and caring hosts and you feel like you are on vacation, visiting friends. The hotel is so beautiful, and decorated with so much attention to detail, each room is unique .... The stay here made our short trip very special... the beautiful courtyard is so inviting and the breakfast is incredibly delicious and fresh. And then a wagging tail greets you in the morning... Simba is the icing on the cake... how can you not feel at home here?

Everything, we had a gorgeous room, extremely comfortable bed, great facilities and very friendly charming hosts who went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we had a lovely holiday. The breakfast was amazing, fantastic advice on where to visit and eat locally we can’t praise Carl, José and their lovely dog Samba enough. We really recommend Es Picarol and would love to stay there again one day!
