The whole apartment was exceptionally equipped to a very high specifications. The design and decor was outstanding. Tziona was a perfect host. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the villa was a perfect base. An added joy was the greeting from the dogs (although this is optional)

This is my second time back at this absolutely phenomenal property.. and there will be a third (I just booked) fourth, fifth sixth etc... its absolutely stunning.. Fabulous position over looking the bay and the quality of the accommodation is second to none. I feel totally at home as soon as I walk through the door.. It is the nicest property i have stayed in during my numerous visits to South Africa ( I have stayed in many but very few even get close) ..And it it's made even better by the lovely hosts - Tziona and Ross.. nothing is too much trouble for them. Its also a good option for solo travellers ( I often travel on my own and feel very safe and comfortable there ) and for those that normally stay in the centre of cape town its a great option too.. Its not that far away if you have a car and the drive there is stunning, especially if you take the Chapmans Peak Drive route. Lots of other places on route too to explore .. its not just about the penguins though they are super cute.... Also there is a train into the centre of CPT that people may not know about. Restaurants are good and very reasonable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this in a heartbeat to any prospective guest.. though one regret is in saying this I may limit how often I can stay.. :-)

I consider myself as fairly well travelled and have stayed in some amazing places all over the world but this has to be one of the best .....if not the best, I have stayed in .. We were only there for two nights and entered as strangers but left as friends.. the hosts are absolutely amazing: kind, thoughtful , super quick to reply to questions and nothing is too much trouble. For those on their own or worried about safety its perfect as the hosts live on site. The unit itself (which is made up of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fantastic sitting area with an open plan kitchen overlooking the pool / terrace area ....with the bay in the background ) is a testimony to Tziona's expertise in interior design.. being an art lover and design appreciator myself I absolutely adored the place and felt at home immediately. Simons town itself was also very lovely and quaint, some great reasonably priced restaurants, (uber works very well here too) you are also very close the penguins, and we drove to Cape Town from there which was super easy... though there is a train to the centre if you want that to take the strain.. :-) so if your visit is for pure pleasure (I honestly didn't want to leave the place but it was my sister's first time in Africa so unfortunately I had to ) .....or for work ....you will certainly not be disappointed, though the view may be a tad distracting.. but in a good way... I thought the place looked great in the pictures but its much much better in the flesh, there is so much attention to detail.. that even on the last day i was still noticing different things... and it strikes quite an unusual balance of having all the conveniences of your own independent place but with the luxury of hotel facilities.. honestly I couldn't fault .. 10/10 ... I was in two minds to write a review like this on the basis that it may not be available when I want to come back :-) many thanks to Tziona and Ross!
