Hypnotic view of the mountains and ocean; stylish, modern space and amenities, yet cosy and homely with pretty much everything one could possibly need; good options for ordering in food; host was friendly and accommodating. And I saw baboons!

“Out of this world 💖”

Everything! John was an amazing host. Enjoyed every moment, the view, the area,the hike to Admiral's waterfall not far away which is safe with the baboon Rangers on guard, John's suggested places to go. Fishermen's beach 💗 and the Korean food at one of the many restaurants around the area. My husband truly enjoyed meeting and chatting with fishermen on the pier at night. We'll definitely be back.

“Simonstown Gem”

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, with breathtaking ocean views from the apartment perched high on the hill near a waterfall. The peaceful surroundings were perfect — no noise or barking dogs — yet it was still conveniently close to the centre of town. Spacious veranda, to relax on and enjoy the stunning scenery and tranquil atmosphere.

It's just an unforgettable hotel with a spectacular view. We'll never forget the emotions you feel while grilling at sunset, overlooking the bay. Very nice owner. Excellent and safe location. I recommend it to all my friends, and we will definitely come back again.

The view was amazing and the service. I asked for late check out and this was no problem en for free. Flight was 23:45. Clean also. Everything you need. We wanted Some rest after our travel and we find it at this place.

A very comfortable studio. Spacious. Good living space. Nice bathroom. Convenient kitchenette. Balcony to sit outside. There is less wind on this side.

John is a great host through and through and very insightful about the area. I stayed just over a week as I was busy studying at the Simon’s Town Naval College. Very well situated location surrounded by mountains, a hiking trail, restaurants and penguins not far away.

John was a fantastic host—kind, friendly, and communicated everything perfectly! 🌟 The place was easy to find, and the location was superb: quiet, peaceful, with amazing ocean and mountain views. 🌊⛰️ The room had all the amenities, a cute coffee station and a Smart TV with DSTV bouquet.If you dont have a car Uber was easy to find.

We loved everything, it was a wonderful stay! The location was great, views awesome and the room was excellent with lots of space and very modern. Extra touches like a list of restaurants and shops nearby was very helpful, and little extras like the chocolates in the apartment were appreciated!

Tranquility at it's best, calm/peaceful and serenity were my highlights. The view is mind blowing. The host John is a kind hearted human being and accommodating. I will definitely be back

Everything, nothing less. John and Kathy are amazing hosts and genuinely lovely people. The flat is equipped with everything you might need for a longer self-catered stay. And what a view! We couldn’t stop staring at the bay and the hills from the balcony. The building is located higher up in the mountains, so it's really calm and safe and friendly, though very close to the baboons’ natural habitat. From time to time, you can even watch a live “rangers vs. baboons” show from the balcony while sipping your coffee (which I truly enjoyed every single time) 😄 There’s also a short walk to a waterfall, as well as beautiful residential streets and historic buildings nearby. You can easily get to the downtown with nice restaurants or Boulders beach (or further to the Table Mountain National Park) by car. The roads are of excellent quality, and the views are once again absolutely stunning. We would definitely stay here for much MUCH longer if we ever return. Thank you, John and Kathy!
