Overview
Situated on the slopes of the Glencairn Mountains, Moonglow offers spacious rooms with a balcony overlooking False Bay. It features an outdoor terrace and a lounge with a bar. A TV and a tea and coffee making facilities are in Moonglow’s rooms. Each has a private bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer. Soft colours, wooden furniture, and colourful bedspreads are part of the country-style décor. Guests can enjoy a full English breakfast on the outdoor terrace while admiring views over False Bay to Hangklip Mountain. They can also read a book in the lounge which is decorated with oversized lounge chairs. Simon’s Town is a 10-minute drive away. Moonglow Guesthouse offers free private parking on site.

“A gem in Simon’s town”
This was one of the best BnB experiences in SA. Our host - Maureen was such a lovely and hospitable person, she made sure that we had everything we needed and ensured that our stay was comfortable. The place gave a home away from home vibes and we would definitely book this place again when we’re in Simons town

“A pleasant and comfortable stay.”
A scenic location and there was even a garage for our car. Well suited for exploring False Bay. Excellent fruit salad to start off a substantial breakfast. Gillian was a friendly and helpful host.

Safe and quiet locality. Amazing view from the terrace. Very professional service and a nice warm atmosphere. Excelent breakfast. There is a good restaurant Dixies in a walking distance too. And it is possible to park the rented car in a garage, that also increase the comfort of the stay.

“Warm and welcoming base for Cape adventures”
Jillianne is a very charming, informative and warm host. The house has stunning views across False Bay and back towards Simon’s Town. Jillianne’s dinner recommendation at Dixie’s (just down the road) was awesome. Her delicious home cooked breakfast and our conversation were lovely; really memorable. Just like home.

“The most welcoming guesthouse”
We had a great stay at Gillian’s place. We booked last minute but there weren’t any issue. The room was big, well decorated and well equipped. The view from the balcony is incredible. The place is very safe and there’s a restaurant 5 min walking. The breakfast prepared by Gillian was very tasty and we had a nice chat with her in the morning. You can tell she pays attention to details to ensure her guests have the best stay. We only stayed one night but we would have been happy to stay longer in this amazing place. Thanks again!!
