We had a perfect stay, we absolutely loved it. Janene's kindness and the location of the Cottage were wonderful. The views of the penguin beach, the morning walks, just being there with the penguins—we loved it and we'll definitely be back someday. This is a lovely and perfect historic cottage. Simon's Town is a charming and very safe little town. For us, it's been perfect because we love authenticity and disconnecting, but if you're looking for modernity and internet access, this probably isn't what you're looking for. If, what you're looking for is authenticity and tranquility, it's the perfect place. Thank you Janene.

“A creaky, historic gem with breathtaking views”

This is not the place you go for mod-cons luxuries… this place is historic, creaky, full of character, with a view that will take your breath away. We stayed in the main cottage. Communication was excellent, and this was the perfect location to also explore cape point (15 mins from entrance) and Kalk bay (20 mins away)

“Perfect for a few nights at Boulders”

Location, location, location! Check out the view… Wonderful position right above the beach, easy access to boardwalk. The studio was a great, clean and comfortable space for 2 to spend some downtime in paradise surroundings, it felt very special being able to stay here. Lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful.

Bosky Dell’s location, above Boulders Beach, is excellent making it easy to view the penguins, tan on the beach or swim. You can stroll to the nearby Boulders Hotel for a bite, coffee or beer

“Perfect place to experience Boulders Beach”

The location and the view from our window right towards Boulders Beach and the gulf was our favourite part of the stay. The cottage is quiet and the garden was full of incredible birds. Having Boulders Beach for ourselves in the morning and late afternoon was incredible to experience! The hosts are friendly and helped us with our travel plans.

The views over Boulder Beach was my highlight. Janine was amazing, let us do our washing, had long chats with her. Room was comfortable and had the best views from the bed

“Everything you need for a lovely stay close to the penguins.”

Our first impressions were country cottage quaint, like visiting a UK seaside cottage, perfect. Icing on the cake was the hotel quality bed linen & towels. Stunning. The bed with its little welcome gift of chocolate was a cute touch.
