“Never book this crooked guesthouse.”

We arrived early for our 1 night pre booked pre paid stay to be told our room had been given to someone else and there was no other accommodation available in the area. We were informed we could make a 2 hour drive over the mountains in the dark ( where we knew there is a township ) and stay in a cabana. No thanks. The owner would not acknowledge that by giving our room to someone else, effectively leaving us homeless, was not just legally but morally wrong and begs the question how much money changed hands to give our room away.

Breakfast was ok, but only eggs offered for hot breakfast.

Both Garth and Natalie were top notch folks! We enjoyed their hospitality and knowledge of travel for excursions about the area! Thanks to both of them!!

The location, the beach below and the infinity pool , the warm South African hospitality , the tasteful detail (eg bathroom products by a local artisan , good coffee , excellent breakfast by chef Peter ), and the all round experience .

A serene, zen-like ambience has been created here by Garth and Natalie. If you are looking for quiet and comfortable surroundings that are still close to nature, including Penguins, the Cape and many beaches, I highly recommend Aqua Terra. Not to mention the wonderful breakfasts/brunches.

Fantastic view and a very warm welcome! Garth was also very flexible when our travel was disrupted.

The views. This place has some stunning views of false bay. Gaze outside the windows and you never now what you'll see in the ocean - we managed to catch a site of some whales. The breakfast was great and the stay was pleasant overall.

THANKYOU to Natalie and Garth for their wonderful hospitality and interesting conversation. We had a fabulous time. THANKYOU to the friendly staff and to a Peter for his great breakfasts. Will definitely recommend AquaTerra as an excellent establishment in a beautiful part of the Cape.

Lovely host, and Peter looked after us, great breakfast, amazing views. Went to Boulders Beach saw the penguins, Cape Point is very near and well worth a visit. Golfers must play at Clovelly, 15 minutes away. Garth gave us a late check out , so we spent less time at the airport.
