The Culverdene is a beautiful old house in a garden setting. The hosts were very friendly. An excellent variety of choices for breakfast and ours was delicious. The house is close to Port Dover and the town of Simcoe. We would absolutely return.

The hosts were wonderful and helpful in recommending some local restaurants/ wineries. Breakfast was excellent and of good quality with some of the items from local farms. We loved the fruit salad. We will definitely return when visiting Norfolk County again.

“A lovely stay outside Simcoe Ontario. Simcoe is surrounded by beautiful and productive farm land.”
Breakfast was delicious, healthy and there was lots of choice. Options were given the night before and food was prepared to your liking. The property was lovely and had some interesting trees on it, and there was also story about the history of the house in the room. This is not a "modern or contemporary " house. Our room was beautifully decorated. One of the owners is from France and is also a photographer and painter.
