Thanks to its sunny and quiet location in Silvaplana-Surlej, in the heart of the Upper Engadine, only 4 km from St. Moritz, the Hotel Chesa Surlej is a great place for relaxing holidays. Unwind in the sauna or steam bath and suntan on the big terrace, offering nice mountain views. Depending on the weather, you can enjoy local specialities in the sunlit terrace or in one of the 2 restaurants. Surlej is well-known for it's wide range of summer and winter activities. The Hotel Chesa Surlej is situated right at a ski slope offering a direct access to the Corvatsch cable car. The Silvaplana and Champferer lakes are only a few minutes' walk away. In the summer, the hotel offers many bicycle-related services, and a free ticket for the Engadin cable cars for stays of 2 nights and longer. In winter, guests staying 2 nights or longer can purchase the ski pass for a discounted rate.

“Overall, nothing critical, but due to this attitude, I would not choose this hotel again.”
The hotel is new and conveniently located close to the ski lift. There is a ski storage room and several saunas, which is very nice after a day in the mountains.

Bridget was extremely friendly and helpful on check in and assisted us the provision of free tickets to ride the local buses and with the loan of power adaptors so that we could charge our devices throughout our stay. The room was quiet, spacious and clean.

This hotel was in one of the most amazing locations we have ever experienced. My son tried snowboarding for the first time and the ski school was only 80m from our hotel. This was the true definition of ski in and ski out. The hotel restaurant was exceptional, and we had dinner there every night.
