Overview
Specifically "Located in the car-free Fex Valley, Hotel Chesa Pool is a 20-minute walk from Sils Maria through a partly steep forest path. We offer a free shuttle service from Sils to the hotel 5 times a day at fixed hours and with previous reservation. Shuttle rides outside our fixed times are possible at a fee and depending on availability. The hotel occupies a historic Engadine-style building and offers rooms with mountain views. The restaurant only serves vegetarian and vegan specialities. The rustically furnished en-suite rooms at the Chesa Pool Pensiun feature a plasma TV. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Guests can relax on a sun terrace, in the library or and in the rustic Chamineda Restaurant. Mountain bikes can be rented on site. Daily transfers between Sils and the Chesa Pool are available. In summer, the local public transport can be used free of charge.

We liked all! Especially the beautiful nature all around and also Paul and William! They were exceptionally helpful and they made our short stay very pleasant. We will definitevely return one day, probable in summer.

“beautiful location, sweet hotel but disappointing restaurant”
the hotel is in a very nice, quiet area and perfect to start hiking or cycling right from the doorstep. staff is generally friendly and helpful. the breakfast is amazing with lots of choices and everything tastes fantastic. the outdoor area is very nice with cozy beanbags and lots of opportunities to enjoy the sun and take some rest.

“amazing experience. great facilities and kind staff.”
everything was perfect. they pick you up in Sils and you experience the magic from the very first moment. you listen to classical/jazz music on your way up in the car. the food is amazing. great breakfast selection. lunch and dinner vegetarian options. gourmet experience. the rooms are cozy and high quality with toiletries. the staff is kind and helpful. and the valley itself is beautiful.

“Great hotel for trekking and nature walks, not as great for young skiers wishing to know St Moritz”
The hotel is located in the middle of a reserved park, which for those looking to do trekking is great, for people looking to ski and get to know the area plus have dinner outside the hotel this is not the place. It is in the middle of nowhere with very limited access. The hotel staff was truly nice, you could see they wanted to please the clients and were willing to help if needed. From the boss to the shuttle driver they were all very candid and warm. Something to be appreciated.

“Great location outside the village”
Great room (two floors connected by a steep ladder) with a picturesque view to the Fex-valley. really quiet, because it's outside of the village, situated in a small hamlet in the Valley. You can reach the hotel also by feet in about 15 minutes from the next bus station by following a beautiful track throng a canyon and over mountain meadows...so don't come with a trolley case...:-)

The valley is stunning and it is car-free . I was amazed by how beautiful it is. The pension was lovely and very comfortable.
