Main problem was that the phone number wrotten in the publication and on the board inside the house did not work The phone line was kind of close so no way to contact the owner by phone and we was a bit stressed on the road Lucky that I read the small sentence in previous message that allow me to find the key and get in please review that point !

We chose this lodging quite by chance on our travels through France.What a wonderful find:.Elmarié our charming hostess ,has a truly magical apartment above her art gallery.She has clearly put her heart and soul into creating a unique,artistic stylish and supremely comfortable place to stay.Not only is the decor wonderfully imaginative,El has thought of every possible practical extra.:shelves,cupboards,drawers all yielded useful items: such as books,guides,games,exotic arrays of beauty products,spare toothbrush and toothpaste,every possible kitchen implement, unusual,classy crockery and even weights and a yoga mat! The bed was comfortable ,with beautiful unusual bedding,,there were plenty of chairs and stools ,a huge sofa a breakfast bar ,plus a proper dining table. .The whole place was light and very spacious,with a large fan for hot weather.Parking was easy in the courtyard below the apartment. The quiet,,unpretentious little town is situated in pretty rolling countryside,with a lake and beach nearby,a supermarket and,El's very own coffee shop. There is also a railway station,with links to Paris. Suffice it to say Sillé le Guillaume is lucky to have such such an artistic and enterprising new resident.We had a wonderful stay and appreciated the little edible treats and cold drinks awaiting us.Who would ever want to stay in a predictable,bland hotel chain again ?.Thank you so much.El.I've run out of superlatives.....My husband I know saw the glint in my eyes as I exclaimed at all the delights on offer.He realises our home in England will be receiving an artistic d.i.y makeover.on our return! .

The property was decorated to good taste and it was functional. The host was very pleasant and discrete. We were presented with extra treats we were not expecting, this, a good surprise.

Lovely host, very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much for her, she even leaves a little welcome pack of essentials and stock items in the cupboards. The apartment was clean , well equipped and a lot larger than we expected. Parking was on a private space and very safe. The location was great for exploring the area and a handy walk into the town for banks and cafes. Also great value for money. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

A fantastically furnished apartment in a great, easy to find location which if you're not driving is in easy walking distance from the town train station. Lovely local bars and restaurants abound.

This property exceeded our expectations. We had the entire apartment all to ourselves with everything we needed - like a home away from home. All the extras were there and a hostess a call away to help out if needed.

“Central, home from home accommodation”

The apartment was bright, airy and very well appointed. It was centrally located with easy transport links. I found no problems parking and the railway station with routes to Le Mans, Lyon and Paris was a short walk away. The apartment had all mod cons and I felt very much at home from the moment I arrived. My host was very welcoming and informative. She presented me with freshly made crepes on my arrival. Her art gallery is also well worth visiting during your stay. I would be delighted to have the opportunity to stay again.

The apartment was well situated, clean and lovingly decorated. Even if situated on an intersection, it was calm at night and the occasional car passing did not disturb our sleep. Our host had bread, jam and butter ready for breakfast as well as coffee and tea.

Everything you could need was in the fridge already and a fresh baguette was delivered to my doorstep every morning! A really special apartment! Super well finished and decorated to very high standards. Elmarie has thought of absolutely everything! A lot of love, care and attention has obviously gone into every detail!

Tasteful decor, warm and friendly host, bread, jam, cheese and milk supplied for breakfast. A beautiful apartment, highly recommended. Would definitely stay again.
