“Lovely place in Sigulda”
Very welcoming hosts. They have really thought everything and the welcoming gift was a nice touch. Location was very convenient to visit the national park and other sights. We loved the full sauna experience (definitely worth the extra 40€). Bed was comfy and the cottage had everything one could need. It was also very modern and clean. I would definitely stay here again and can recommend the lovely hospitaity of this family.

“Lovely cabin with a great outdoor area perfect for the whole family”
Beautiful wooden cabin on the edge of Sigulda. The hosts are extremely kind and attentive during our two night stay. We really enjoyed the comfort of the home and also the huge garden equipped with nice chairs, a fire pit a barbecue and everything else you might need. There’s also a nice looking sauna (that we didn’t try out). I highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing time in a family-run establishment.

“A real Latvian paradise of a place!”
We had the most wonderful stay in the little Latvian paradise that the Kalnziedi house is :) The warmest welcome by the wonderful host including local treats, sweets and herbs; the greatest service; the beautiful surroundings with a pretty garden full of hortensias, comfortable garden furniture and a bonfire pit to roast your marshmallows; the wonderful sauna inside the house with all the amenities such as towels and birch branches; the tasteful interior design and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It's a perfect spot to explore and discover the central and eastern part of Latvia (it is also not far away from the Estonian border) - and also to just chill out and get some rest in this wonderful Latvian guesthouse. Thank you so much, the Kalnziedi people - we would definitely love to come back one day! Most recommended!

“This is a lovely, beautiful place. We though our stay was too short. We would really recommend it.”
The host were nice and sweet, and really helpful. When we arrived they came with vegetables and jam.
