Overview
Surrounded by a fjord in the northern town of Siglufjördur, this hotel is 100 metres from Adalgata main street and 17 km from Ólafsfjördur town centre. It provides scenic views and rooms with free WiFi access. The simply furnished rooms at Hotel Siglunes have private or shared bathroom facilities. All are individually decorated and have either wooden or heated stone floors. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet during summer and Siglunes also offers a communal lounge and a summertime bar. Within 10 minutes’ walk is Adalgata main street, the town’s harbour, as well as various dining and shopping options. Herring Era Museum, an indoor swimming pool and gym are all 650 metres away. I stayed there one night - the reception staff is amazing! specially the girl from Slovakia. Room was nice, and spacious enough for 1 person for 1 night, very clean, had good blackout curtains and comfy bed. Common bathroom had Soley cosmetics- i love them! it was great to spoil myself a bit :) it was also very clean and equipped with all that is needed. They offered free tea and coffee, both delicious :) Definitely would stay there again :)

“Lovely hotel in a great location”
The location is wonderful, near to all the services and the herring museum which is so interesting. Receptionist is very pleasant and welcoming. Coffee and tea available in the dining room. Hot tub was a great addition.

Great hotel with a fantastic atmosphere, lots of cool artwork. Hot tub was also a bonus - no one used it while we stayed there!

“A touch of luxury”
The hotel was stunning, the room was comfortable and the location was perfect for us. The receptionist was very welcoming when we arrived and we really enjoyed the hot tub with views of the snowy mountains!

We loved the retro feel of the room, including the antique radio and furniture. It was refreshing NOT to have a TV in the room. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was clean.

“Perfect hotel in a perfect location”
Beautiful interior full of gorgeous old furniture and striking art work. Bonus of a hot tub with views of snowy mountains in two directions. Fabulous restaurant with delicious food: the vegetarian tagine was epic.

“Depressing place, we didn't feel well there. This sticky floor...”
After this stay, I am sure I am more into places where I can feel welcomed and have contact with locals. What was nice: view from the room, quite nice bed, coffee and tea for free. People working at the kitchen- very kind.
