We had a wonderful stay at The Hideout Sigiriya! The peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery, made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout our visit. The food was delicious, with fresh and flavorful options every day. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature while still having great comfort. Highly recommended!

The staff is amazing. The manager helped us a lot - arranging transfers, breakfast boxes, doctor for dauther etc. The food is tasty, breakfast was very nice. The family treehouse has wonderful view of rice fields. It’s amazing to sit and listen to peacocks and other animals. The hotel is away from main road to Sigiriya - nice and quiet location.

The staff was of the kindest possible type, specially the director. He helped me with absolutely everything: excursions bookings, cars, in house requests in that kind of familiar way that he made personally sure everything worked out. The kitchen is always open, they have a very smart menu that can cater for western and eastern taste as well. Anytime you could have lunch or dinner, food was very good. Breakfast is western type and very variegated. The swimming pool was so clean that it seemed just built. I stayed in the big house in the tree. The panorama from the hugh veranda over the rice fields is one of the most beautiful and peaceful a person can imagine to have. Inside house was ok, ac and WiFi all working fine.

What an amazing experience to stay in a tree house. All beautiful wood great balcony view over Sigiriya and Pidurangla rock. Breakfast was delicious and the welcome drink was also delicious and beautifully prepared. The staff helped us with our luggage and everyone was lovely. Some incredible wildlife outside at night with monkeys and all sorts of crickets and other animals - be prepared for some noise outside at night but we loved it, felt like you were right in the jungle!! Aircon was a great help.

The location and the grounds were excellent. Palm trees and other plants gave shade, an oasis amongst rice paddies. The staff were excellent and very friendly.
