Fantastic customer service. Staff are so friendly and generous.

Location was good, there's a path that you can take past the elephant wire and onto a rock that looks towards lions rock which was nice and meant you don't necessarily need to go to the paid viewing spot that's really popular. The greeting drinks on arrival were a nice addition.

This was a little oasis for us after the busy towns. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were so very friendly and helpful and the pool was wonderful after a busy days’ slight seeing.

Wonderful family run business. Lovely friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to please. Beautiful pool with views of Lion Rock amid a great garden that produces fresh fruit and vegetables for the restaurant. Great homestyle Sri Lankan meals for breakfast and dinner. Location is great for all Lion Rock and Pidurangula and elephant safaris. Can arrange all your tours for you also.

The whole experience was sensationañ. This family run resort is run by passionate people who love to share their culture, cuisine and region. In the end we practically only ate there, while they organised tours and experiences for us - some we'd planned and others spontaneous and rewarding. The rooms are comfy, the grounds are tranquil with a good amoint of birdlife. Easy walking distance to Lion Roxk, and then you can watch it from the pool after you're done.

Staff couldn't be more helpful. The food was really good. The grounds have lots of fruit trees and birds and its a pleasant place to be. Very close to Sigiriya and a tuk tuk ride to restaurants.

Spacious, comfortable, well maintained rooms and bathrooms, large bed, good airco. Lovely swimming pool in nice garden. Pleasant space for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They arrange good safari at reasonable price.

Good quality price for being a hostel. Nice for a traveler experience.

A wonderful guest house in a private setting, surrounded by palm trees and the jungle. The family who run the guest house were very welcoming and informative and the food was the best (voted by the entire family) we had during our three week holiday in Sri Lanka.

The location is great, the staff are friendly and happy to help out, especially the cook in the kitchen. The food was lovely and reasonably priced.

Amazing place which felt like a peaceful retreat, with pool with view of Sigiriya, birds and butterflies galore and a stunning view of Sigiriya and Pidurangala from a small rock at the back, about 5 min walk from the pool to the top. 10 min walk to Sigiriya Rock park entrance. Atmoshpere was low key and helpful. Tuk tuks/drivers helpfully arranged, including Dambulla for afternoon and driver to Kandy. Location meant I could go up Lion's Rock when I felt like it..no need to book anything. Quiet temple opposite hotel, with huge white buddha you can see from top of Sigiriya. This provided a wonderfully restorative and enticing start to my Sri Lanka trip after long flight. Really glad I came straight here (initially considered Ngombo). Food was good.

Everything was okay, the standard room was ok but the facilities are not top notch, the water heater is really loud and the electricity was gone three times in our two nights stay (only around an hour each). Don't expect any luxury. The breakfast is basic but sufficient and the restaurant looks not very nice with all the messages from guests all over the walls. Reminded us of a public bathroom but that might just be our impression / subjective.

Beautiful distant view of Sigariya from our room with balcony. Easy walk to the entrance. Hosts were lovely and gave good advice on best time to climb (afternoon around 3.30pm), which was ideal because most of the time we were shaded by the rock. Pool was also great
