We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also arranged a safari for us, which was a great experience and very well organized. Overall, everything was excellent, and we highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The property was amazing. Ruwan and his family are exceptional hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we an amazing stay full of authentic experiences. Breakfast and dinner is cooked in house with fresh local ingredients and we got to do a cooking class with his family which was a great experience. Ruwan is very well connected throughout Sigiriya and wider in Sri Lanka and helped us out so much with transport and planning activities. We are very grateful and couldn’t recommend this place enough

Sigiriya Water Cottages were excellent, the owners were incredible, they went above and beyond, we felt like we were part of their family. The breakfast was excellent, different every day. The dinner was the best we had eaten in Sir Lanker. They will organise any tour, tuk tuk or even take you to your next destination and nothing was too much trouble, highly recommend this property, we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was also delicious with a good variety of options. We truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. They even allowed us to use their bicycles to help search for our lost drone, which we truly appreciated.Thank you for the great hospitality!

“Lovely staff, incredible pool”

Amazing accomodation ruled away from the main area of restaurants in Sigiriya. Lovely pool area and very staff .

Genuinely a lovely place to stay and a lovely family and staff. We did a cooking class with them which was great fun and very reasonably priced. And got to eat what we cooked along with the other guests. We organised an elephant safari through them to the Hurulu Eco National Park. Picture attached of company used by them. We were apprehensive as had heard bad reviews and horror stories about jeeps racing round and pushing to get close to the elephants. However our driver was extremely good and very considerate of the elephants despite there being other jeeps breaking the rules pushing off road and in front to get a better view. The pool is fantastic and the rooms spacious and clean. Breakfasts was fresh and varied. Helped organise onward transport for us too and competitive rate.

“Charming peaceful stay”

A delightful stay, we didn't want to leave!! All the staff were so lovely and helpful, particularly the daughter, Liara, is so sweet! They helped us arrange transport to nearby Sigirya Rock and we're ready to arrange anything we asked for. The dinner was very delicious, and enough to feed us for multiple meals!! The pool was nice and refreshing, and we saw a peacock and other birds wondering around the greenery nearby. Would 10/10 recommend and wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing stay, one of our favorites! Amazing service, the best home-made food & lots of variation, arranged the tuktuk to climb Pidurangela rock & best pool to chill afterwards. Big shout out to the little girl who’s a great big helper!

“Immersed in nature, a very relaxing stay.”

We stayed in the deluxe cottage, we loved that is a separate cottage in the little mango plantation they have there. The cottage had a full size bathtub, views were great and was in the middle of nature. There were wild peacocks running around, the pool was spotless and the food amazing! Staff very helpful, you can rent a scooter or bicycle there.

Exceptionally beautiful grounds with a wonderful pool, perfect for relaxing before and after sightseeing (and cooling down). Rooms are well equipped and extremely comfortable - the cottages are gorgeous. Lovely friendly and super helpful hosts - helped me with transport and trips in the local area, at excellent prices. Excellent food (breakfast was delicious and I can recommend the dinners as well). Fantastic location, set back just from the main road (so quiet and peaceful) but convenient for getting to all of the sites, with some nice restaurant/ cafe options nearby.
