The owner is super attentive and helpful. Really nice man. Couldn't do enough for you. Made fresh breakfast every day and if you needed help with taxis he would arrange at a fair price. The rooms were simple but comfortable. The walls weren't the thickest so you could hear your neighbours. But overall good, would recommend for local experience. Plus cute dogs.

Our host was the most loveliest you can imagine. He helped us so much, gave us great recommendations, and booked activities for us. The breakfast was also amazing!

The nicest host and family we’ve ever stayed with. Unfortunately got stuck in a cyclone whilst travelling Sri Lanka but Yuji made sure we were okay. He gave us candles when the electricity went out, he cooked us food free of charge as we couldn’t leave the room. We had amazing Sri Lankan breakfast. He also found us a taxi driver when we had to rush back to the capital. Highly recommend staying here for an authentic and nature filled experience.

“Amazing location with a lovely host!”

We stayed at Sigiriya Rock Gate Resort for 3 nights and had a great time. The rooms are clean, comfortable and great value for money given the location. UG was an amazing host and always went out his way for us. He organised a safari tour and a day trip to Polonnaruwa for us and cooked the best breakfast we had in our whole Sri Lanka trip!

Clean room

Great Host, spacious rooms with mosquito nets, delicious food. He cared well for us during our stay and made an effort. Also helpful with organizing transportation for us at reasonable prices. Recommended.

We loved this place ! The location was so good, close to the Lion Rock ! The host helped us a lot with tuktuk, a lot of goods informations ! He succeded to book a tour for Lori’s by night and with a very good price ! I recommand this place, our journey was so amazing ! Thanks !
