Good location, owned by a couple that was very kind, big room

The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The food was delicious and served with so much care. Everything about the property was neat, clear, and exactly as promised. We would highly recommend this place to our friends and anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful stay. Food is super se b upper 👍10/10

Brilliant stay the least amount of bugs of anywhere we have stayed. Absolutely lovely family the son in law owns his own tour company and they go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. We had dinner one night and it was brilliant for a very good price, lovely Curries. Cannot recommend this place enough, though not advertised a few reviews mention they have a pool but you currently cannot use it. They took us to a pool down the road in the tuktuk which was lovely

“A place to feel like home”

It was one of the best homestays in Sri Lanka. Really nice family, the owner is helping you with everything: arrangend a Safari whenever we wanted, we had a nice Kajaktour on the lake as well. I arrived a bit late and he drove me to a really good Restaurant as he didn‘t wanted me to walk alone in the dark. Very clean and the breakfast was also very delicious! Will come back for sure.

“Comfortable homestay with great services and lovely family”

The location was good and near local restaurants. Good value for money. The room was comfortable and had mosquito nets, aircon and a fan. There was also hot water. Ashen and Oolu were great hosts. They drove us to the attractions we wanted to go to and charged us a very reasonable price. We also did a cooking class with them which was fun and much cheaper and more personal than others we’d seen online. The breakfasts were really great and we felt very looked after. They also had the most adorable dog Charlie who stole our hearts and was a great addition to this lovely family and homestay.

The people were extremely friendly and helpful. And to pool with bar/restuarant made it a great place to relax at the end of the day. Ashen and Oolu are wonderful hosts.

Would absolutely recommend! The hosts were so welcoming & the surroundings are beautiful - you feel like you're in the jungle. The rooms are basic, but everything you need & great value for money. We loved the breakfasts!

Lovely hosts, swimming pool, lovely restaurant nearby and very clean. Very helpful family members who provided transport and a guided tour.

“We had the best time at Sigiri Roar”

We stayed for 2 nights and we loved every minute. The room was great and the bed was comfy (we stayed in the bungalow/cabana). The staff were friendly and so so helpful. Ashen offered to drive us around for the time we were in Sigiriya and we had a really great time with him. His wife Oolu was also super lovely and made us our delicious breakfast both days. The pool area was great for relaxing in also. The guest house is able to provide a tuktuk driver and also transfers (Oolu’s dad, the owner, drove us to Ella). All of this for a really reasonable price!

Fantastic swimming pool wuth sun loungers in the shade and sun.and excellent food in the restaurant. Lovely setting with lush gardens and a great balcony space. All the family members were very friendly and helpful from both resorts. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

“Our stay was amazing and we would 100% return if in Sigirya again!”

The owners were absolutely lovely and attentive. The breakfast was amazing! They sorted out a tuktuk driver for us which wasn’t too expensive and dropped us to our 6:30am bus to kandy free of charge! The room was perfect. A/C worked brilliantly. They also have the cutest puppy called Charlie who melted our hearts🥹

“Fantastic”

Gorgeous family run, about 20 minute easy walk to main bit of town which we loved. Lovely pool which was great after a mornings walk. Breakfast and dinner fantastic. Such a lovely welcoming family. Large very clean room, all you need.

Big room with a comfy bed, breakfast was delicious as were the meals in the restaurant. The pool was great for relaxing - very clean. The owners were great and organised tuk tuks for as when we needed them. Restaurants & bars nearby.
