We had a wonderful time at Peacock Homestay. The family is very friendly, breakfast was amazing, rooms clean and they helped us organising a safari.

Gorgeous Homestay, staff/family were very accomodating and helpful with organising tuktuk’s to get to where we needed to be. Very comfortable rooms!

Our stay here was lovely. Loved the big breakfast, fresh fruits, the pool and just overall the friendly vibes. Great value for money, would definitely stay again.

Great value for money. Pool next door is great. Laundry for reasonable price and they recommended tuktuk for very reasonable price. Very clean. Toucan, peacocks and other birds in the garden.

Lovely family run homestay. Mango and coconut trees in the garden, they climbed the coconut tree to get fresh king coconut juice for us and gave us fresh super sweet mangos to eat. Very clean and well maintained. Small village with few restaurants just 50m walk. Listen for some fancy melodies to catch the bakery tuk tuk with some bakery treats. “wildlife experience for the whole family!”

We spent three wonderful nights at Sigiriya Peacock Homestay. Located right in the heart of the jungle, the proximity to nature is incredible. Our kids (3 and 5) were mesmerized by the monkeys and peacocks, but the absolute peak was a surprise visit from a wild elephant! The location is perfect, peaceful and green, yet very close to all the main attractions in Sigiriya. The host family was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. If you want a genuine forest experience with warm hospitality, this is the place to be.

Peacock homestay was a wonderful way to feel a part of Sigiriya. Our hosts were a very lovely family who looked after us very well, including delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, dinner and even a surprise cake and balloons for my husband’s birthday. It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops and transport. Also very close to Lion Rock so a great base to visit both the rock and Dambulla cave temple.

The most amazing loving family, they made us feel so welcome into their beautiful home. The homemade food was delicious, would stay here again in a heartbeat. They couldn't do enough for us. Big comfy beds. The swimming pool next door was great and looks like they're building their own now.

Location was good and host very helpful and friendly. The staff were so good to let us check in at 7am and give us breakfast when we arrived!

Family was fantastic and very helpful, the food was amazing, we got breakfast in early morning before safari. The pool was amazing, however it was on another property.

“Fantastic Homestay”

We had hired a tuk tuk for a week so location was never an issue but it was nice and quiet just off the road and well within walking distance of shops and restruants. The family who run the place are fantastic and the wife is an amazing cook. Breakfasts were huge and delicious. In the process of building their own pool but can use next doors which is great as it gets very hot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
