We had a lovely stay here! Hiru and his parents were so kind and friendly and always happy to offer help and recommendations. The beds were comfy and showers hot and the breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this place

“Spacious room”

It’s a spacious room and the breakfast is amazing! The family and Hiru are very kind and accommodating. The hotel is a great place for the start of a hike around the lakes in Sigiriya.

Hiru is the best host ever in Srilanka. We had a geat time in Lahiru Homestay. We felt like a home. Hiru's parents also very welcoming. Hiru organized everything for us during the stay also after. He is providing all the taxies all arround sri lanka. We will definitely come back to hiru next time in srilanka

Hiru and his family were super welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities. The hosts went above and beyond to help us plan our days in Sigiriya and assist with bookings. They had great local restaurant recommendations also!

Hiru and his family really looked after us! They made sure we had everything we needed and gave us lots of info and advice about the area as well as taking us for our sunrise hike and to Dambulla cave temples. The room was perfect. Air con, nice shower, and comfy bed. All clean and we loved the big mosquito net! Thank you! We recommend staying here.

A clean, simple home stay. The family is exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They were very helpful. The room is as photos show - clean and good AC. There are general stores and a few restaurants close by. The family makes good recos including for cafes with views.

Very nice place run by a family. One of the best breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka. Scooters (for rent) and bicycles (for free) are available, so it makes it easy to explore the surroundings. Lion Rock is 5 minutes away by scooter / tuk tuk and there are a couple of good restaurants in the walking distance. Lahiru’s family will make you feel like home.

Amazing people, amazing places, amazing food.

We had an amazing stay! The room was really clean and comfortable, had a lot of storage space and great chairs in front of the room to hang out. In general we really liked the location as it was not too busy, had a lovely garden area but was still not too far from a lot of great destinations in Sigiriya. Further, the whole family was so kind and helpful with everything, we couldn't wish for more! We felt so welcomed and cared for. Also the breakfast was really delicious. We will definitely come back!
