Beautiful serene accommodation. The owner is an absolute gentleman who genuinely welcomes and cares for his guests. Lots of fun activities- rent the bikes, do the village tour. All staff are lovely. Breakfast is outstanding. Rooms are large and very clean. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

The garden and pool area are well taken care of and you are surrounded by beautiful nature. We enjoyed the pool so much, it felt like a small oasis. The staff is friendly and the Sri Lankan breakfast was great.

The team were so amazing. Super helpful with tips and booking, to the point where we literally changed our two week itinerary thanks to Sanjay and it worked out so much better. Such an interesting person to chat to and a lovely setting, great pool, beautiful places to run and walk out to the lake. And totally delicious breakfast included as complimentary. Set in a lovely location, with a great pool and even an outdoor gym. The breakfasts were authentic Sri Lankan food and the host was super helpful to organise our onward travel and activities while we were there.

Sigirya Cottage is set in beautiful grounds with a sparkling swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. The manager and his staff are super friendly and they do everything possible to ensure your comfort. The breakfasts and dinners are absolutely delicious and unbelievably good value. We tried other places close by to eat but none were as good as the onsite restaurant at Sigirya Cottage. This place is highly recommended.

We had a very good time and everyone was just kind. We got plenty of Information and also used the free of charge bicycles for a trip at the area. We also were offered to participate in a nice ‚honeymoon‘ trip which was also a very nice oppotunity. Overall a nice family athmosphere

Rooms are large, clean and bed was comfortable. Sanjay is an amazing host who made us feel very welcome. He gave us helpful tips on the places to visit including best time to climb Lion Rock. Breakfast was good and Sanjay explained the Sri Lankan dishes to us nicely. Good pool to cool off in at the end of the day

From Australia! Very comfortable and the best owner/manager who helped us from our arrival until we departed. Special thanks for caring about our son’s Chronic pain, recommending a doctor to help with herbal medicine, and setting a visit 💗💗. It helped us get home and also has helped ease the concern. Very helpful booking tuk tuk’s to local attractions. Laid back and relaxed ( reminded us of our Yala hotel). Had 6 of us in our party and well looked after. Sigayra, markets and Dambula Bhudist Cave were memorable, and village/ lake boating. Thank you.

“Gem of a Find ...Wonderful Host, Quiet Location, Highly Recommend”

The property is well situated in a quiet location yet close to the rock we used the bicycles from the hotel and cycled around the area and around the rock which was lovely. The Owner of the hotel is the most hospitable man we met on our three weeks in Sri lanka nothing is too much trouble for him and he arranged a wonderful boat trip and lunch for us which was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka

Beautiful and peaceful location, comfortable room and bed, most helpful owner who takes the time to provide advice and insight. The pool was lovely too. The free bicycles provided meant that we could cycle on peaceful lanes around the lakes, see local village life, so much wildlife and see more off the beaten track: our most special time in Sri Lanka !
