The owner was very friendly. The family was friendly. It was a true homestay. They had a beautiful garden and the breakfast was true home cooked food. The experience was truly calm and lovely.

The host family was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The homestay was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Majis helped us to organise the safari with a wonderful guide who respected the animals and told us about a real place for ayurvedic massages. We enjoy every second of it.

We had an amazing stay at this homestay in Sigiriya! The owner and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to organise everything for us, from tuk-tuks to an unforgettable elephant safari, which was definitely a highlight of our trip. Every morning we were treated to a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, and the fresh lime juice was an absolute favourite. Everything about our stay felt personal, relaxed, and genuinely caring. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sigiriya. We would happily come back again!

I spent 3 nights in this fabulous place. It’s not far from the village (about 30 minutes), and the road to get there is really nice. The room is clean and spacious, and there is hot water for the shower! This family touched my heart with their kindness and generosity. Just don’t hesitate to stay here if you are planning to go to Sigiriya!

Mahesh was a very welcoming host, who is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay here a lot, the room is very good value for money and the food was the nicest food we have had in Sri Lanka. It was an added bonus that he organized a bike tour and safari for us as well, which was amazing! Would highly recommend staying here.

Super friendly host with a lovely family. He helped us organize a nice safari to the Hurulu Eco Park. Dinner and breakfast was great and super delicious. Location is more quite but you can still walk to the Lion rock.

The family was very welcoming, they helped us plan not just Sigiriya stay but gave us suggestions about our further stay in Sri Lanka. They welcomed us as a part of the family and gave us amazing drinks and breakfast. The beds were also very big and so comfortable so we had the best sleep here.

Lovely family onsite, excellent value room with everything we wanted. Friendly owner, happily customised our breakfasts for our dietary preferences :-). And for a reasonable fee, cooked us a wonderful dinner onsite too: much appreciated! Would happily recommend 👌

Everything! The host was amazing, the location is 30 mins away from Lion Rock, the breakfast was super good. We really enjoyed the garden, there were so many plants and little birds! We went to safari, recommended by the host.

Although we booked a room with fan (no AC), we got a room with AC and paid extra for that on the spot. It wouldn't be possible to stay in a room without AC. The owners are friendly.

Mahesh is a friendly, helpful and humble person. All services were beyond our expectation. Calm and quiet place to have your stay around Sigiriya. 10mns drive to Sigiriya rock, so it was much easier. Highly recommended. !!!

“The perfect stay in Sigiriya”

Felt so welcomed by the owner and his family. Welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast every morning was amazing with great fresh fruit and coffee. He helped us plan what we wanted to do during our time in sigiriya, organising all the Tuktuks and bike hire, and helped us get the bus to our next destination. His English was amazing and it was so nice chatting with him. Located on a nice quiet road with plenty of restaurants and shops 10 minute walk away. Felt us and our belongings were safe and secure as well.
