“Everything was perfect 👌🏻”
We stayed for 2 nights at Sigiri Sandalu Homestay and it was pure bliss! Waking up in the stilted room to the sound of birds and the calm atmosphere was incredible. The view of Lion Rock every morning is absolutely unmissable. We also really enjoyed the hearty breakfasts and the great local tips shared by the lovely family. Everything was perfect—we highly recommend this homestay!

We had one night stay here and wished it was longer, The location is excellent if you are looking to hike Lions rock! The family who run Sandilu are lovely and a special shout out to Sandy who greeted us on arrival, he offered excellent advice which we took, organised breakfast around our hikes, and took some fantastic photos for us, he is a real gem! The accommodation was spotless, with lovely views and the sounds of the jungle. The bathroom has two shower options (one power shower with cool water) and one hot water shower which was great.

Walkable distance to Lions Rock and Pidurangula - lovely room, well kept and ac. breakfast was served each morning and it was delicious! hosts were incredible and even took us on a tour around Dambulla for the day! Would stay again!

Great location, walking distance to Lion Rock. Lovely welcoming hosts who took us around Dambulla for a day. Very clean, air conditioned, spacious bathroom and a really nice breakfast. Would recommend to anyone visiting Sigiriya for a day or two.

“Great value for money, amazing view if you can get the upstairs room away from house.”
Owners were attentive and friendly. Cleanliness and facility’s. Grounds beautiful as was the view of sigiri rock. Short tuk tuk ride to nice bars/restaurants.

“Nice relaxing bungalow to start our stay in Sri Lanka”
Ravi and his family were excellent hosts, with lovely bungalow accommodation providing a view over their garden and of Lion Rock. Peaceful location surrounded by nature and lots of different birds. Home made Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent and was different each morning and we really enjoyed the ginger tea that came with it. Ravi's son, Sandilu, was helpful and knowledgeable and good to talk to. Ravi has a tuk tuk which he used to help get us around whilst also arranging airpot transfers and safari which made our stay a lot easier.

This homestay felt like home for us for a few days. Sandilu and his family are humble and kind people, always attentive to their guests’ needs. The traditional breakfast is amazing and the location is ubique, making you feel like you’re living in a dream.

It is amasing place with direct view on Lion rock. Photos are 100% real. There is everything what is need. Hosts are very friendly and tries to help with everything.
