The hosts were incredibly friendly and willing to help. Surrounding area was really nice with restaurants near by. Having mosquito nets was also a big plus!!

Fantastic stay here. The host family are wonderful, kind and accommodating. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Helpful in arranging tuk tuk to Pidurangala Rock, bicycle tour and transport to next destination. Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, storage areas for bags and clothes made the stay even more comfortable! Special thanks to the ladies of the house for being so welcoming.

We had a lovely stay, room was clean, family was really friendly, garden is very tidy, we came with tuc tuc, so we had a place to park. They offered nice breakfast, pancakes with bananas, so for the price this stay was one of the best ones in Sri Lanka so far☀️

The accommodation was impeccable, very clean and well equipped with air conditioning. The breakfast was incredible, as was the evening meal—a real treat! The family is exceptionally kind and very attentive. After I explained what I wanted to do, they organized my whole day and even found me a safari at a very affordable price. And for a small extra fee, the father accompanied me everywhere: from sunrise to my next accommodation. A truly wonderful experience, I recommend it without hesitation !

The owners were super friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us organise lots of activities such as pidurangala sunrise hike, bicycles, and a safari at Minneriya - all for a really good price (seemingly taking no commission!). The room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

The room and bathroom are massive and very clean. The shower has hot water. The staff speak a little English and can explain tours and organize tuktuk if needed (you might find cheaper tuktuk prices in the main road). WiFi worked super well. The breakfast is simple but it's good for the price paid. Easy access by walk to restaurant and main road.

A very warm and welcoming family. Beautiful location in a lovely area, not far from Sigiriya rock and Pidurangala rock. Breakfast and dinner were lovely.

“Authentic and amazing experience”

During my stay in Sri Lanka, I was lucky to stay with many wonderful families, but this one definitely touched me in a special way. The room was clean and spacious, and while the location is a bit far from Sigiriya and Pidurangala, the family rented me a motorbike that was in the best condition of all the ones I rented in Sri Lanka. If you don’t want to rent a motorbike, they also provide tuk-tuk services. The hostess always served us tea or coffee with snacks in the afternoon and prepared the best curry I had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All of this would already be enough to give the stay a 10/10, but the best part was the conversations I had with the two hostesses. They are so sweet and shared a bit about their customs and what it’s like to live in Sri Lanka, both in the past and present. They were also very curious about my culture and family, and it was wonderful to exchange stories with them! Even with the language barrier, we understood each other perfectly. Thank you for all the care and kindness!
