When giving a rating I have to consider the value for money. This establishment is just that. Combined with the hard working staff and management it was an excellent choice for a two night stay. Arrangements for food, coffee, transport directions and any other queries were addressed and catered for promptly.

This property was clean, spacious and peaceful. The breakfast was fantastic and the host was amazing! He was so friendly, helpful and attentive. The main village is about 15 min walk down the road or a cheap tuktuk ride. Would absolutely recommend this place if you are staying in Sigiriya!

If you want to spend a wonderful time in the forest, choose this place without hesitation. The room was amazing and very clean. The host is a wonderful person, and a big thank you to the person who prepared breakfast for me in the morning; it was a fantastic breakfast. I also thank them for lending me their bike so I could explore the city. Everyone was very kind and helpful. As someone who travels the world, I stayed here for two days and regretted not staying longer.

The location of the property was very convenient; it was within walking distance to the city center. The staff were very friendly.

Very friendly staff, they arranged trips, safari for us. We enjoyed the breakfasts, we took advantage of the dinner option, which were also excellent. They provided us with a tuk tuk whenever we needed it.

The host was incredibly nice! We booked our safari with him and the tour guide was amazing! We also booked our ride to Ella with our host which was super easy and comfortable!

We really enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend it. The staff were great and extremely helpful. They helped us organise various trips and recommended a fantastic place for a massage. All in all we were very satisfied. PS: The breakfast was a treat

Janaka and his family were the best hosts. I had a great time at their accommodation. Him and his wife prepared two delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners and made sure I was having a good time. Besides, the room was extremely clean, the bathroom spacious, with hot water and the bed had a mosquito net. The location is great, right next to the Lion Rock entrance. He also helped me understand what was the best way to get around, helped me arranging tuktuks and a bicycle. Definitely recommend their property if you’re looking for a deal in Sigiriya and a local experience.

Such a beautiful garden and area and the owner is the cherry on top 😄 Super friendly and very, very helpful! Rooms are comfortable, breakfasts are tasty. Short walk to the nearest busy area. Totally recommend :)
