The place is beautiful, the breakfast is very nice. The family managing the hotel were so kind. The perfect place to be in sigiriya.

“Peaceful stay with excellent host and breakfast”

A great place to stay! Beautiful and private cottages close to the main road. An easy walk (5-10 minutes) to restaurants. The host was amazing and very helpful with anything we needed or any advice. We booked a safari with her husband and it was fantastic, saw lots of elephants up close with no other jeeps around. The breakfast was a highlight each day. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast freshly cooked. Would stay here again :)

Beautiful cottage style A frame buildings, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, friendly owners, delicious breakfast, great cookery class and safari organised for us, happy memories! Would recommend.

Sigri Enaya Cottage is an amazing choice for your stay in Sigriya. It is close to the lions rock and other restaurants. The owners are insanely kind. Breakfast was delicious too. The “cottage” is clean and looks great. Would most definitely recommend it.

Great hosts and own individual garden

Wonderful stay in Sigiriya! Super lovely host family and a cute, cozy cottage in a great location. Walking distance into town, restaurants and even Lion’s Rock! They also took me on an amazing early morning safari that I hadn’t planned at all and helped organise tuk tuks as well as a private driver for a longer trip to my next destination at a great price. Truly kind hosts that make you feel very welcome. Would absolutely stay here again!

Friendly service, personal booking and fanastic organised safari by the hosts. Gayan was a great wildlife guide, found us lots of wildlife while being respectful to the environment.

“Great stay with a great family”

Clean and comfortable property in the middle of sigirya just a short walk away from restaurants and a 15 minute tuk tuk to lions rock. Family are really nice and welcoming. Breakfast is a good everyday and we even did a cooking class with them where the food was great. They also helped organise day trips and the driver they use is great, so would recommend asking them about that. Didn’t do the safari as we did one down in Udawalawe but they also do that from onsite. Really exceptional value for money!

“Fantastic stay at this beautiful family-run cottage”

We absolutely loved our stay at this fantastic family-run cottage very close to Sigirya. We had a delicious dinner cooked for us by Chathuri and she arranged a fantastic safari tour for us, by her husband, Gayan. The room was exceptionally clean, and the family were so friendly - even helping us arrange a tuk tuk to take us to a sunrise hike early one morning. We would absolutely recommend this for anyone wanting to stay in Sigirya - we couldn't have asked for anything more.

“Lovely first experience of a home stay in Sigiriya”

We have just spent an incredible 3 days at the lovely Homestay of Chathuri and family. We received such a warm welcome from them, they were very helpful in suggesting places to visit and booking tuk tuk and ‘pick me’ drivers. Chathuri’s Srilankan breakfasts and dinners were the best we have had so far in Sri Lanka. The cookery session I had with Chathuri was really interesting and I’m looking forward to trying out my new cookery skills when I return to the UK. Gayan her husband also took us on a 4 hour safari in his jeep. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals and birds we saw. He picked a perfect time to do the trip as we saw herds of elephants and not too many other tourists! Thank you for your warmth and kindness, we will be back.

“Cozy & nature”

Cozy cottage with nice private terrace and flowers. Very friendly owners who even prepared special breakfast after my Pranchakarma treatment. Wonderful place if you like nature!

The mattress is firm (which I like), the room and the bathroom are spacious. Good value for money. The breakfast is european which was a nice break for my stomach. We ate watermelon, scrambled eggs, toast with marmelade, smoothie and tea/coffee.
