We absolutely loved our stay at Sigiri Close-up View Guest. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the beginning of the Pidurangala walk and also walking distance to Sigiriya lion rock. Also, the views of Pidurangala from the accommodation are amazing. We were lucky to enjoy them while having the delicious dinner and breakfast offered by the host. The room was perfect for our needs as well - the bed was incredibly comfortable and the airconditioning was good.

Sigiri is quiet and peaceful location. It's beautifully located and offers amazing views of Sigiriya. It is only 10mins walk from Pidarangula rock which you can enjoy for sunset or sunrise. Host is very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was lovely, thank you.

Gorgeous views, rooms were nice, comfortable and clean, and the staff were lovely. Delicious breakfast and dinners, helped me get to and from the rocks, and helped organised an elephant safari for me. They made me feel very comfortable as a solo female traveller. Would recommend this stay!

A very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The staff were lovely and cooked us a delicious dinner. We were tired from a long travel day so the comfy bed and air conditioning were perfect for our stay. Can’t beat the views either!

The view is good. If you are looking a place with good view outside the room, you will like it. Otherwise, there are a lot of better choices. The owner can drive you to the Pidurangala Rock in early morning at a reasonable charge of money.

Great location with views of Sigiriya rock. The staff were so nice and friendly and we enjoyed the dinners and breakfast they cooked for us. They also organised a jeep safari which was fantastic.

Secluded hotel with impressive view of the Sigiriya Rock. Comfortable clean room and bathroom. Hosts were accommodating, provided an pre-dawn short cut travel to the Sigiriya Rock entrance via their jeep.

“A must stay”

I liked absolutely everything about this stay and I could not just pin point one thing but many. The view of the sigiriya rock is outstanding, the nature and wildlife is everywhere and the food and drink were fantastic, we had an amazing breakfast and evening meal. The staff were exceptional and absolutely no request was a chore, just a fantastic find

It is the most beautiful location, amazing view of the rock. You can see animals everywhere and the rooms are very cool. We loved the outside bathroom our room had. The staff are so lovely and cook amazing food! They were also super helpful planning activities for the two half days we spent there. Very close to both Sigirya and pidurangala rock, you could even walk. Overall would absolutely recommend to stay here, it was amazing!

A real gem. We loved the peaceful location and waking up to the sounds of the birds and the view of the Lion Rock. The breakfast and dinner were delicious home cooking. The host were kind and attentive. We enjoyed the outside bathroom off our room! We'd love to come again.
