“Great host and food”

We traveled to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks as a couple from Germany in February 2026. We stayed in 7 different hotels. I'll only remark on the positive and negative things. Otherwise expect a hotel matching the category and price: Positive: Best Host, great food (breakfast pancakes, curry, Spanish eggs Negative: Mold in the room

“Great place, good food”

People are super nice, the place is in the middle of the jungle. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi are great. Break fast and dîner are amazin. You should try ! The room is simple. Good quality price.

“Wonderful stay in the middle of the jungle”

The most relaxed staff ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, really nice hotel in the heart of the jungle —you can't hear anything except the animals, which is super cool! We got great recommendations for a tuk-tuk ride from Lion's Rock & Pidurangala, as well as a discount for an Ayurvedic massage, and a private, affordable elephant safari was organized for us. Also Kitty (dog) & Karma (cat) made me very happy!

We had a nice stay at Sat Nam Village! The host was very nice and caring, had good recommendations for us and helped us with everything. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice after a long day. The food was also really good! We loved the jungle vibe and all the animals we could hear when falling asleep.

“A fantastic base for sigiriya”

Manuel could not have been more helpful. He took us to bus stops, organised safaris and took us to watch the sunset. He was an incredibly attentive and kind host. The food was excellent. The sri lankan staff were lovely. The room was great. The pool was refreshing.

The rooms are amazing and clean, the mattress is excelent. We have a very good sleep also no noise around, you only listen the nature. Very relax and peaceful. The owners are Spanish so you will have the chance to eat Spanish food 😍😍 ( croquetas, paella, sepia, huevos rotos, gambas al ajillo… absolutely amazing) Everything you need they will help you Manu ( the owner is the best) Also has a jacuzzi and a pool Beautiful place ! The best in Sigiriya

The food was delicious and Miguel was a great host. I really enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend it.

Pool, spa and hospitality. Manuel is an amazing host and makes a mean margarita. He's a lot of fun and will go out of his way to make your stay better.

Bungalows were very comfortable and we felt very welcomed and looked after during our stay. The hot tub was great. We would definitely stay again if visiting Sigirya.

Everything was amazing, Alba is so friendly and always ready to help with everything you can think of. Her dog and cat were also gret part of our staybg here. She activated jaccuzi as soon as we arrived and we were bathing while she was making us dinner she spoiled us so much. Absolutley would stay again here! Make sure you book this stay if youre coming to Sigiriya!

“A little paradise”

This was by far one of our most favorite stays in Sri Lanka! From the welcoming and amazing Alba to the comfortable cabins and a lovely pool and warm jacuzzi! You also in the middle of nature, it’s a little oasis a bit outside the busy street where you can enjoy the sounds and serenity of nature.

“Perfect stay for our family”

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 year old and 4 month old baby. We had such a lovely stay for 6 nights. Alba is so lovely and was so great with our kids. She’d hold our baby so we could eat dinner, play with our toddler etc. She gave us a toddler seat so he could sit higher at the table, the pool was lovely and so was the jacuzzi. It’s so peaceful there and amazing being surrounded by nature. It’s about 20 mins to get to Sigiriya but Alba always arranged a tuktuk for us which was nice and easy. Was great having free water too. We’re also vegan and Alba cooked us some great food which was appreciated! The beds are comfy, air con is good, towels are provided, cot was provided, mosquito nets, hot water. Would definitely stay again!

Dearest Alba, Hola ! we are sorry you had to wait a bit for the review , but here we are .. still enjoying the memories of our stay with you. You really think of everything and you are such a warm, welcoming person. The rooms are beautiful decorated and spacious, great shower (with separate wall unlike most places in Sri Lanka where you flood the bathroom while showering - not here ! ), the garden is well maintained and it has a lovely pool (where monkeys enjoy a drink :-) ) and even a jacuzzi - all food is made with love from Spanish to Sri Lankan dishes We just loved being at this place and easy to visit Sigiriya , Dambulla etc by TukTuk Always in our heart - love Dre & Anne

Very nice swimming pool. Good food. We were with the 4 of us and they arranged an extra matras which was really nice. We forgot a swimming short and the owner send it to Our next location. So sweet.

Immaculately clean. Nice room. Great pool and jacuzzi. Alma is a very energetic and engaging host and was exceptionally helpful with advice and other useful matters. Good choice of home made food, both Spanish and local.

“Sat Nam amazing oasis of calm”

Alba the host was so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Sat Nam has such a relaxed vibe. Great food both Sri Lankan and Spanish... especially the potatas bravas. Little touches like the jacuzzi, oil burner in rooms, and Kharma the cat just added to the chilled and home from home feel of this little oasis! Would come back and definitely return
