“Beautiful quite relaxing stay”

Beautiful surrounds and so quiet. The hosts were amazing, and the breakfast and dinner incredible! Bit of a walk to the centre, but along a nice quiet road. They arranged an incredibly friendly driver for me who picked me up in Dambulla, took me to the cave temple and Polonawaru on a day trip.

A lovely homestay perfect for families. Very friendly hosts. Opportunity to make cooking class. Help with organizing everything and with every problem we had. Also very good for just relaxing in the garden. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay not too far away from the main attractions and the busy main road if needed. Very nice breakfast and dinner as an option, which we took every day.

If you want to experience authentic Sri Lankan living, this is the place. We had a very nice time with the host family and also joined the cooking class. The location is perfect to visit all the sights in Sigirya.

Our favourite Homestay during our trip. We felt like part of the family as soon as we arrived. It was like having your own Grandma looking after you bringing cinnamon tea and biscuits after a long walk. We ate dinner here every night as the food was so good and cheap. We did the cookery class too which was a highlight our stay and my daughter is now working her way through the Wish Prabha cookbook. Clean room, no mosquito bites at all. I love how they grow everything and it’s all organic, something they pride themselves on. A bit out of the way but this only added to the experience listening to all the animals and insects about. Perfect. We miss you already.

Lovely homestay closeby the lake. Kumara and his family are fantastic hosts and make sure you're well fed (the delicious food is all organic with produce from their own farm). Room is spacious and clean.

“Amazing start of the trip in Sri Lanka”

The hosts were absolutely incredible and taking care of us. The food (both breakfast & dinner) was a great representation of Sri Lankan cuisine. The place itself was also what you see in photos - great village getaway - fully recommend!

Beautiful family with excellent service and breakfast. It’s also near a photo spot where you can see the Sigiriya rock reflected in the pond. Kumara was very helpful with helping us book tuktuk and tours for our travels. Thank you!

“Brilliant hosts, food fresh from their organic farm, and a unique must-do experience.”

This is the best homestay we’ve done. A lovely family who went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel safe and comfortable. They prepared us the best food we had in Sri Lanka: tasty curries, roti and more with all the ingredients coming fresh from their organic farm. Kumara gave us a brilliant tour of the farm, as well as all the best things to see in the area. He even took us to our next destination, and arranged pickup from the airport. It’s also right next to a nice lake. Definitely stay here!

“Wonderful experience with a Sri Lankan family”

Extraordinary place with wonderful hosts. For guests who are interested in nature and organic farming, also vegan or vegetarian food this is paradise. We had a wonderful time ate delicious home cooked food from fresh farm vegetable, and were invited to experience real Sri Lanka family life. There are cooking classes, the host has a tuktuk he took us to Polunaruwa,and to Pidurangala rock at a fair price.

Had a great time. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. We were driven around everywhere for a decent price. The hosts were super nice and helpful. The room is in the middle of a beautiful garden and the homestay is close to a lake with an amazing view. Would definitely recommend this homestay!

“Welcoming family”

The location was good it’s around 20 min to Sigiriya Center. The family was welcoming and showed us how to cook traditional Sri Lankan food. The room was spacious and comfortable and offered for a decent price. A tour to Polonnaruwa was offered.

Kumara and his family is really special and amazing!!! We never ever got this good hospitality! Beautiful place ! and Kumara help’s getting there, just give your driver Kumara’s phone number and he will take care of you. Kumara also know Sigiriya very well and can recommend you things to do all over the city! Kumara’s wife is cooking AMAZING vegiterian food ! And you can come inside the kitchen and learn! Amazing experience! This family is the best hosts we could have ask!
