“Solved overbooking issue”

The hotel is in a very nice area, a bit far away from the main village. The room was clean and quiet, unlike what many reviews say. The breakfast buffet was good, but not memorable. The hotel was very busy with a large group of travellers. If it wasn't for Niroshaan, however, our stay would have been disastrous. He took good care of us after some initial problems. He's been the star of our stay, and did what he could to make up for the issues caused to us.

The staff could not do enough for you. Perfect location to access both Dambulla and Sigiriya. Accommodation was a great size for a family. Food and drinks reasonably priced. Would recommend

The room was exceptionally big. In fact a lot bigger than I imagined it. With the price I am paying, it definitely worth every penny I spent.

All of the staff were very friendly, particularly the restaurant staff Mr Rasika, Thanuja, Dananjaya, Nawoda and Isan. Nice big room, comfy bed and nice pool area.

The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet was fantastic, covering all cuisines. The massage at spa was particularly nice, thanks to Priya darshani.

The pool was nice, the buffet was enjoyable, and the property itself is very large and spacious. The chalets have a nice layout and potential.

The location was nice and secluded. Ambience was very relaxing and perfect for a couples getaway.

We stayed for two nights. The staff is very kind and helpful. They looked after us very well with a personalised attention. Environment is very calm and relaxing. Lot of trees, with a adjacent lake too. Fine weather, not hot. Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful to make customized items as well, when we had needs for kids. Overall it was a wonderful experience we had. Thank you Occidental. All the very best for new hikes!!!

“A rustic experience in a green environment”

The cottages are spacious. The pool and the green surroundings are great. The staff was very friendly and solved problems quickly. The English level was sometimes questionable.
