“Not just "nice" but PARADISE”
A very special experience from start to finish. Udika's garden alone is worth the stay. Teeming with life and love right on your doorstep. Beautifully appointed room and bathroom with an amazing breakfast. Its an easy walk to restaurants, the little town, attractions, spas and ATM.

“A haven in Sigiriya”
We loved everything about this hotel!! The gentleman who runs it (forgive me I didn't catch his name) is the friendliest host. All the staff there were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was divine. We loved it. It was the most comfortable bed we stayed in on our entire Sri Lanka trip. It's a short ride into the main bit of Sigiriya but there are tuk tuks available or if you have a scooter you're fine. There was a big thunderstorm one evening and we were struggling to get a tuk tuk. But the hotel host offered to bring us to the restaurant for free - we thought this was very kind. Thank you again. Outside the hotel has a wonderful view of the paddy fields and of course, the lion rock! And lastly... THE GARDEN!!! WOW!! I work as a gardener back home so I was simply blown away by the different array of plants on the hotel grounds. The host walked us around and showed us some of his amazing plants and I could tell how much passion he had for it. Not to mention the bees! It was honestly incredible and I would return back there for the experience of the garden alone. Breakfast was exceptional. Too much food as always - Sri Lankans love to feed.

“Fabulous local gem”
Wow what a memorable stay. Highly recommend Nice View Lodge, the host Udit was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. Anything that I needed he was able to assist me with, including good recommendations for restaurants and activities. The rooms were extremely clean and appeared to be newly renovated. The breakfast was a lovely home cooked spread and the lodges are amongst lots of beautiful greenery and animals. Easy walk into town, nearby restaurants and the view of Lion’s Rock is just outside. “Fantastic. Very comfortable, clean rooms and super staff.”
Throughly enjoyed our stay, the room was super clean and modern. Whole property had an amazing view of Sigiriya rock and is a short drive from it. I have to say, the staff were fantastic - very accommodating and polite. We were leaving at 6am the next day and they got up especially to make us a breakfast box and with some fresh fruit.

“Good value, all as expected”
Good breakfast, room was ready for our arrival (decorative towels). Nice location, rooms are situated inside of a garden. We found everything we needed.

“Best choice in Sigiriya”
Amazing location off the main road in Sigiriya. With great view of the rock outside the property, short walk to restaurants and cooking classes. Great breakfast and lovely staff. The room is beautiful and so are the gardens, lots of lovely birds to see.

Beautiful location in a lovely garden near paddy fields where you can see Sigriya. Best breakfast in Sri Lanka with friendly staff. Rooms were very clean

The staff were amazing, incredibly attentive and accommodating!! They helped us at any time with booking activities and transport. The breakfast was quite good. The property itself is very comfortable within a rural area and with an amazing view to the Lion Rock

“Lovely relaxing stay.”
The property is surrounded by greenery which attracts lots of birds, rooms were very clean and spacious. Good Sri Lankan breakfast on offer, location is quiet but close enough to a few eateries. Would definitely stay again.

The place is quiet, and very green. In the evening it feels really like sleeping in the jungle. Its on a side street with no traffic, which is a blessing. The 'nice view' you get on the street outside of the hotel, but not from any of the rooms :) But its ok Everything was clean
